I stayed at the Eagle's Nest by myself for two nights. The rental was clean and smelled good with no musty odors. Two gallons of bottled spring water were provided for drinking. The mobile home is set in the side of the mountain with a small, stone parking area in front and a steep driveway.
There were two issues with my stay. The first was that there is no WiFi. The listing says there is WiFi, and goes as far as saying you can get speeds up to 100 Mbps. This is NOT true, and I confirmed it with the manager via text who said there is no internet at the Eagles Nest. Unfortunately, there is also no cell service, so keep that in mind. It took an entire day of traveling to get a reply to my text due to poor cell service in the area.
The second issue was that there was no hot water. I was told that the hot water should have been on, so I am assuming there is hot water available, just not during my stay. I tried to heat water on the stove but the gas was off there as well.
This wouldn't be a bad place to crash for the night if it was cheaper and it had the hot water turned on.
