Book your stay at the Sea Glass Cottage and enjoy a minutes walk to the beach! This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage is the perfect spot to getaway and relax. Less than a mile from Canal Parks Aerial Lift Bridge, restaurants, shopping, outdoor activities and so much more. Out the front door you will find Franklin's Tot Lot for the kiddos. Across the street, you are walking distance to Park Point Beach.
Our historic, beautifully remodeled and decorated cottage offers two bedrooms located upstairs. The first bedroom you will find a newer California king size bed, while the second bedroom has a newer queen size. The full bathroom is located on this level with a bathtub and shower.
The kitchen offers a great space and is fully stocked with your basic essentials for all of your cooking needs! It is fully stocked with kitchen essentials. Just bring some food and enjoy the warm, bright kitchen while cooking your favorite meals. Walk right into the dining room with a dining table and extra chairs to enjoy family meals and your morning coffee.
Living room has a flat screen TV, leather queen size pull out couch and games for all to play. The TV is setup with WiFi streaming and we offer Netflix and Hulu for guests to enjoy without having to sign in!
Access to the entire cottage. This cottage does share outside common spaces with Driftwood Cottage, and is in very close proximity. You may be able to hear other guests during your stay.
Need more space for your upcoming vacation? Then consider also renting Driftwood Cottage, located on the same lot, a 1 bedroom neighboring home that sleeps up to 4. When combined with Driftwood Cottage, that would be a total of 3 bedrooms, sleeping up to 10 guests.
The Sea Glass Cottage is walking distance from Canal Park (under a mile). We encourage walking, biking and enjoying the close hiking trails located towards the end of Park Point. Public beach access to Lake Superior and 5 miles of sand beach just across the street.
***This is a dog friendly property: a maximum of 2 dogs are allowed at the property; the pet fee is $75/dog. No other pets are permitted.
*** Please note: Air conditioning is a seasonal amenity provided from mid May to mid October.
***SUMMER IS BUSY IN CANAL PARK! There will be traffic on most weekends, especially with special events going on so just be aware when making your vacation plans. Also, It snows here. It's very unpredictable but we do have snow removal that will be triggered with a 2" minimum. Please allow at least 12 hours after a snowfall for our company to get out to plow/shovel as necessary. During the busy summer boat traffic months, you will be what locals call "Bridged" while ships pass under the Lift Bridge . This can take anywhere from 5-25 mins. Enjoy watching the big boats passing by!

VACATION RENTAL HOUSE RULES
1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS a) All Guests (and any Visitors) must comply with all House Rules and any other instructions from the Property Manager during their stay; and b) Guests must notify the Property Manager of any disputes or complaints from neighbors as soon as reasonably practicable.
2. NOISE AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD a) This Vacation Rental is suitable for children of all ages! Guests are fully responsible for the safety and security of their children at all times, as well as any disturbance caused to other residents in the Neighborhood; b) Guests and Visitors must keep noise to a minimum as not to disturb the occupants of neighboring properties – especially during nighttime hours (10pm – 8am), and upon arrival and departure; c) Excessive noise is prohibited at all times and may result in termination of the vacation rental agreement, eviction, loss of rental paid and extra charges which may be deducted from the Security Deposit;
3. VISITORS a) Guests are allowed a maximum of 4 visitors at any time during their stay. b) Guests are responsible for ensuring maximum visitor numbers are not exceeded; and that visitors are complicit with these House Rules.
4. FUNCTIONS a) Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited at the Vacation Rental; and b) Any small gathering must comply with other rules set regarding Noise, the Neighborhood and Visitor numbers.
5. PARKING a) Guests and any visitors are to comply with parking regulations and other requirements set out by the property manger and show consideration to neighbors and other vehicles; please use the designated parking.
6. SECURITY a) Any time Guests leave the Vacation Rental, it is their responsibility to ensure all windows and doors are closed/locked to maintain security and prevent rain and water damage. b) Guests must switch off the lights, air conditioning, fans, electronics such as televisions when not in use to promote energy saving.
7. SMOKING a) Smoking is not permitted inside the Vacation Rental; and b) Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly (in large trash cans located outside property or off property all together) and not thrown on property grounds. Failure to do so will result in a deduction from the security deposit.
8. PETS a) IF Pets are permitted at the Vacation Rental; b) Specific rules regarding Pets at the Vacation Rental are as follows: Please keep pets off all furniture and be sure to have on a leash at all times when outside of the home. Also be sure to clean up after your pet and dispose of waste in the trash bins located outside of property. Please respect neighbors by limiting the barking of pets on the property. c) A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed at the property; for short term reservations the pet fee is $75/dog, for extended stays the fee is $150/pet. All mention of pets denotes dogs only, no other pets are permitted.
9. DAMAGES AND BREAKAGES a) All Damages and Breakages must be reported to the Property Manager as soon as reasonably practicable. Failure to report them will likely result in a penalty deduction from the security deposit. And; b) To avoid Damages and Breakages, no furniture is to be moved from one room to another without prior agreement.
10. CHECK OUT ARRANGEMENTS a) Please be sure to lock all doors and leave both sets of keys back in the lockbox. Check out is at 10am - if you need a later checkout please contact me as soon as possible to make arrangements.
11. EMERGENCY CONTACT DETAILS: a) In the event of an emergency relating to the Vacation Rental, your emergency contact is: Heirloom Vacation Rentals b) In the event of all other emergencies please call 911.
12. COMPLIANCE a) Breach of any of these House Rules is a breach of the Terms and Conditions of occupancy as per the Rental Agreement. b) The Owner and Manager reserve the right to terminate permission to occupy and to evict from the Vacation Rental, any Guests or Visitors who refuse to follow these House Rules or who cause a nuisance to neighbors or other residents of the community.
