Cliffside Casa at Silverpick (#109) was remodeled in 2020 with all new furnishings in 2022. This great mountain escape has an open floorplan downstairs, with a large fully equipped kitchen (with crockpot and blender), wood burning fireplace and large private deck with amazing mountain views, and separate seating area under the trees. The townhome offers a washer/dryer, WI-FI, Smart TV's for streaming, cute coffee bar, deck with grill and seating, and office workspace with monitor, printer, keyboard and mouse. There is also a PlayStation 3 console and games for guests to enjoy. Given its proximity to Highway 550 and paved access, 4WD is not required in winter. There are 2 parking spaces at the condo. Guests are welcome to use the 2 cruiser bikes in the equipment storage section of the garage! The owners also added 3 portable wall-vented AC units - these are not window units, so you still have full use of all windows for cool mountain air and incredible views! There is one in each bedroom and one in the main living space.

AMENITIES: The property has a shared hot tub, playground, and hiking. You can also walk or bike the 0.3-mile dirt road from the condo to the Nugget Mountain Bar - they have a food truck and indoor/outdoor seating with firepits. In the summer, they also feature live music! In the summer, a bike ride to the ski resort would be easy, too.
LOCATION: Silverpick sits at appx 8800 feet in elevation. It borders the National Forest and is about halfway between the historic towns of Durango and Silverton. This prime location is just 1 mile from Purgatory Ski Resort's entrance and approximately 25 minutes from downtown Durango, with scenic drives up to Silverton and Ouray. Enjoy both quiet privacy and the incomparable Needles Mountain views from this townhome, while being close enough to the action of Purgatory Resort where you can enjoy a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.
PETS: This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay). Pets must be crated if they are left home alone.
NOTE: There is a Ring spotlight camera over the front door - lights will turn on with motion.
