A beautiful stone villa located in Bogišići, the 3-bedroom Villa Vrmac enjoys stunning views of Boka Bay, Tivat and the mountains of Vrmac and Lovćen. You can enjoy one of Montenegro’s most spectacular regions with your base at this impressive property which features a large infinity pool.
Beside the pool, you have a spacious, split-level terrace, incorporating a lovely, covered dining area with stunning views of the mountains. There is seating and a selection of sun loungers a little closer to the poolside, and the landscaped gardens provide peace and privacy. The beautiful Plavi Horizonte beach, a sandy beach backed by pine trees, is just a 5-minute drive away.
There’s an international feel to this villa, with décor inspired by Spain and North Africa, and this is evident inside and out. The interiors benefit from lots of natural light, with double-aspect, floor-to-ceiling windows also showcasing the gorgeous setting.
You have a comfortable, open-plan living area with ample seating and balcony access, as well as a dining area with six places around the circular table. The sleek, black and white kitchen provides all you need, including a dishwasher, microwave and plenty of cookware. You can also enjoy a 32” HD TV and free Wi-Fi.
There are three bedrooms – a king, queen and twin. With relaxed, boho styling, these rooms each have the use of their own bathroom. Tiled floors throughout the house keep things extra-comfortable.
With an upmarket marina on the Bay of Kotor, the town of Tivat is one of Montenegro’s most glamorous locations. The small village of Bogišići is around 20 minutes’ drive away, at the entrance to the beautiful Lustica Peninsula. The Old Town of Kotor itself is a similar distance away, and is one of the region’s undoubted highlights.
Not far away, be sure to explore the glorious Lovćen National Park – just one Montenegro’s many spectacular natural sights – and experience the splendour of Perast, one of the most beautiful towns on the Adriatic.

Location:
Offering upmarket shopping and nightlife, along with gourmet dining and a 450-berth, full-service marina, Tivat is Montenegro’s most overtly glamorous location. Events like fashion shows, luxury brand launches and wine tastings are typical of this town on the Bay of Kotor’s happenings.
Kotor’s Old Town also sits on the bay, and its rugged mountain backdrop and stunning views over the water are nothing short of breathtaking. Watersports are popular on the River Skurda, or you can enjoy a boat trip out to the beautiful Blue Cave and go snorkelling there.
In the Old Town, look out for St Tryphon’s Cathedral, plenty of churches and the popular Cat Museum. The town is known for its much-loved street cats, and by visiting the museum you’ll be able to contribute to their care. Kotor’s popularity as a visitor destination can mean it gets busy when the cruise ships drop off their passengers for the day, so you may have a quieter time later in the evening.
There’s much more to see along Montenegro’s beautiful coast. Busy Budva’s highlights include its own charming Old Town, along with the upscale Dukley Marina area. For kids, the family-friendly Aquapark is the biggest waterpark in the Balkans and packed with all sorts of fun rides. There are numerous great beaches, such as Petrovac, ideal for water sports, and Velika Plaza in Ulcinj, which at 12km long is reckoned to be the longest beach in Europe.
South of Budva, you’ll find the super-photogenic Sveti Stefan, a private island which is closed to all but the guests of the resort which occupies it. You can still snap it from a distance, however, if you head for the beaches across the causeway.
Montenegro’s many areas of incredible natural beauty may not be widely known, but they are sure to enchant you, notably the National Parks of Lovćen, Durmitor and Lake Skadar, an ideal place for birdwatchers and wild swimmers.
Other unmissable sights include the biggest canyon in Europe, Tara Canyon. Situated in the north of the country, not far from the border with Bosnia & Herzegovina, it’s quite a drive from the Bay of Kotor but this UNESCO World Heritage Site is impressive enough to make the effort, especially if you’re into rafting or zip-lining.
