„This is the most beautiful cabin you could ever wish for! It is secluded, quiet, and the view from the top is even better than the national park! The drive up the mountain is a little intimidating if you’re not used to driving up mountains like us. It is about 20 minutes up and the closest option for food is about 20 minutes away. That being said you should pack meals to eat in a cooler, we only packed sandwiches and a few snacks but wish we had packed any food we might of wanted. The owners ...

„We absolutely loved our stay here! Absolutely beautiful property inside and out, perfect cozy spot, caught the snow which was beautiful! Only 15 minutes from town. „What an incredible property! The home itself is stunning, only to be outdone by the breathtaking views. It was the perfect escape from the city. We enjoyed the ability to explore Luray (recommend Broad Porch Coffee) which was a convenient 20-25 minute drive away. But we really appreciated all of the amenities included at the property: fire pit, hot tub, grill and comfortable lIcing spaces. “

„The Ivy Rose Cottage was very comfortable and creatively decorated. The kitchen is nicely supplied for cooking simple meals. The trains did not disturb us and were fun to watch, especially the Amtrak. Great pizza and local brewery in nearby Crozet plus an excellent Harris Teeter grocery. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for an out-of-town stay. “

Would suggest lighting up the front door better as we arrived at night and it was dark to see checking in. Back porch lights were mostly dim and some not working. Host is very responsive im sure it would be handled. Back glass doors were dirty with smudge marks and dog drool. Cob webs in some areas of the ceiling. “
