„Tolle Unterkunft mitten im Nirgendwo um sich erholen zu können. Der Pub stammt aus dem 11.Jahrhundert und ist sehr gemütlich. Restaurant sehr gut und herzlich geführt. Zimmer eher schlicht. Einziges Manko sind die sehr weichen Betten. “

„Ich besuchte Freunde in Rushall, verbrachte sechs Tage in dem Pub und genoss die freundliche und zuvorkommende Art des Service Teams. Englisches Frühstück gab es für mich sogar vegan. Der Komfort der Gästezimmer ist dem eines Landgasthofes angemessen; kleinere Schwierigkeiten baulicher Art ( schwache Sicherungen, verkalkte Mischbatterien) wurden eifrig behoben. „All the staff friendly and helpful. I liked the character beams and wall beams in the period property. Lovely huge comfy bed. My arthritic hands could barely turn the bathroom sink taps on and off as the taps were very stiff. I was cold in the night and early morning and wished there was a room heater I could control myself. The toilet flush took a long time to fill. But on the whole a pleasant stay, thank you very much.“

„Zimmer ist schön hell und sehr schön eingerichtet. Betten sind gut, aber man spürt die Sprungfedern. Es wäre schön, wenn es mehr Sitzmöglichkeiten außen für die Gäste geben würde. Die derzeitige Bank steht genau vor den parkenden Autos. Man sollte beachten, dass die Zimmer eine sehr dünne Tür haben und die Gästeküche und Aufenthaltsraum sich genau davor befinden. Wir hatten zum Glück ruhige Mitbewohner. Frühstück gibt es in einem super tollen Wintergarten mit Ausblick in den tollen Garten.“

„Outstanding place. Very rustic, delicious food, great sevice and immaculate accommodation. The only downside is the noise of the traffic when you are staying in the roof rooms as there is little sound insulation. Take earplugs and you will sleep soundly!“
