„I stayed here for close to a month in january, had a great time. The area is beautiful, the cabin was warm and comfortable even in the middle of january once i had the woodstove going, very nice quiet area. You won't see a single person anywhere near the cabin, it was pretty secluded and extremely private, but still reasonably close to some small towns. The hike up to the cabin is awesome, you cross several small creeks through a beautiful forest, there were tracks everywhere from deer, rabbits, ...

„Stunning location! This feels like a home that a family has been very happy to have for decades and they've decided to share some of the joy and coziness of the property with others. The property is well maintained and situated on a peninsula on a lake that is gorgeous even when completely frozen. As soon as we got through the door we could immediately relax. Wonderful fireplace, comfortable beds..we were happy with this choice. “

„We stayed here mid week, on a cold and wintery week - and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The place was 15 mins from skiiing and less than 5 mins from downtown shops and restaurants. It was an easy check in and everything was in order with the rental. Clean and neat and perfect for a family“

„This was a spacious, well-appointed, beautiful home that allowed our large extended family to spend a great holiday together. The owner was easy to communicate with and we found the property to be just what we needed. Even enjoyed the light coating of snow throughout the day and evening to make the views and vistas even more breathtaking!“

„This cabin is cozy and quiet but still very close to town. It snowed nearly every night and the driveway was plowed multiple times. Will stay again!“

„I had a great stay with my family over MLK. The house was exceptionally clean- and I say this as someone who is a clean freak - the kitchen was very well equipped. The house was very warm and that was much appreciated because the weekend we visited it was freezing in Vermont! The layout of the house was perfect and the owners really thought through nice little touches to make the home more comfortable. It was also easy to walk into town, which is charming. We will definitely be returning: “

„On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. Wish we knew that. On the up side: ...

„Ross was an excellent host. From the beginning he made communication very easy. We went with both friends and family including a 1 and 2 year old. There were toys for the kids, games for the adults. A binder with useful ingormaiton anf suggestions. A nice layout and llent of bedrooms for large groups. 15 min ride to Stowe Mountain and an 8 min ride to town center. Geeat location, I highly reccemend it!“

„Perfect a weekend ski get away with 3 kids…beautiful views on the lake. A bit remote..but a nice 40 minute ride to Jay Peak. “

„The unit was spotless, warm and cozy! Views are spectacular! Kitchen is perfectly equipped! We were able to relax from the minute we arrived. The yard is perfect and our springer spaniel loved tromping through the snow! Totally recommend and we are already planning to book our next trips to Stowe here! Can’t go wrong with this rental! 5 stars! “

„The front desk was very responsive and moved us to a much better room after the first room we were in had a maintenance issue. We also enjoyed the restaurant and a snowshoe along the foot path.“

"Das Stowe Inn ist eine gute Adresse in Vermont, die Möglichkeiten rundherum im Spätsommer sehr gut - auch wenn sich hier alles eigentlich um den Wintersport dreht. Schade, dass das Restaurant nur von Donnerstag bis Samstag geöffnet ist, da es ein gutes Restaurant ist. "

Schlechtes Zimmer erwischt?

"Vorneweg, unser Zimmer war sauber. Der Empfang professionell und freundlich. Der öffentliche Bereich ist schön und wir haben abends dort gesessen (im Zimmer war es zu ungemütlich). Der Pool ist schön und es gab sogar einen HotTube. Das Frühstück ist selbst gemacht und wechselte täglich. Anlass zur Unzufriedenheit gab allein das Zimmer. Hellhörig ist noch schmeichelhaft. Im Bad blättert die Farbe von der Decke. Das Bett ist sehr unbequem. Blick aus dem Fenster ist furchtbar,wir haben die gesamte Zeit das Rollo unten gelassen. Insgesamt hat das Zimmer den Aufenthalt vermiest. "
