Getting Around:
Car, bike, or walk within the community. You will need a car to go anywhere outside of the community. Uber and taxi cabs are available in the area, but can have long wait times or be difficult to find.
We strongly recommend that you travel in an AWD/4WD vehicle. We are located in the mountains. Roads tend to be dirt or loose gravel, and they can be very icy or snow covered.
Other Things to Note:
The rental agreement will be sent to you once the reservation is accepted. Your booking is only confirmed once it is signed. Kindly complete it within 24 hours to secure your reservation. If not signed within the deadline, your booking may be cancelled with no refund.
● This property can accommodate up to 12 guests per local regulations. Infants under 2 are not included in this count, allowing up to 3 additional infants beyond the maximum guest limit.
Guests are REQUIRED to register with Penn Estates at least 72 hours prior to check-in.
MANDATORY REGISTRATION FEE:
● $40 registration fee per group (mandatory) - It will be collected separately through the booking platform after the reservation is confirmed.
● Additional $35 FEE per group (mandatory) for late registrations or last minute bookings made less than 3 days prior to check-in, totaling $75.
AMENITIES PASSES: We provide guests with 12 passes that are active from Memorial Day to Labor Day. In case the passes are damaged or lost, we will charge $50 per pass for replacement.
Please note, the fees listed above are not our fees as the hosts, but fees the community requires all guests to pay to cover the costs associated with operating and maintaining all the great amenities and facilities at Penn Estates.
DOG FEE:
● $100 per dog. Please let us know the breeds and how many dogs you will be traveling with so we can adjust the fees accordingly. You will be required to submit the dog vaccinations most specifically rabies and distemper.
Wander Home requires that all guests have their profile 100% verified. Please upload government issued ID and payment method in your account settings, as well as sending us a photo of your ID.
For non-Airbnb reservations ONLY, any eligible refunds are subject to a 6% processing fee & adding the damage waiver fee ($40) is mandatory. This fee will be added to the reservation once confirmed.
Given the rural setting of the property, occasional sightings of ants, spiders, flying insects, and mice may occur despite our year-round pest control efforts. We strive to manage these encounters to the best of our ability, but cannot guarantee that the house will be completely pest free.
NOTE: We provide enough essential items to cover stays of about 2-3 nights. If you need more supplies during your stay, you can visit one of the following nearby stores: CVS, Wawa, Rite Aid or Super Foodtown.
We do our best to ensure there is propane available for grills and/or fire pits, but cannot guarantee there will be propane for use throughout your stay. If all available tanks are empty, we ask that you refill a tank and provide a receipt for reimbursement. Note: be sure to refill/replace the existing tanks - do not purchase a brand new tank.
SECURITY CAMERAS / AUDIO RECORDING DEVICES:

Interaction with Guests:
We are here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. We are only a phone call or message away. You and your party will be able to self check-in upon arrival.
Please remember that you are staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site 24/7.
