„We had a lovely 3 night stay. The views are incredible. We enjoyed cooking in and sitting by the fire pit. So perfect we never left. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. We rented a kayak for the weekend and made great use of the dock. The bonus was this property is dog friendly!“

„Nice. Quite. Close, mid week short getaway for me and my fiancé. Over all I really liked the place. If the grill was fully working it would be better and just want to watch out for the door handles on the fridge and freezer, they are broken and the ladder coming out of the water on the lake, that is not fully attached, and there was a broken chair by the fire pit. But again over all this is a nice quiet peaceful place“

„This was such a wonderful, quiet retreat. The little cottage by a pond was down a rocky, dirt road, with twists and bends that led through the woods. Leigh, the owner, had told me it was rather remote, so I was prepared. The cottage was a bit rustic but comfortable and well stocked, as described. Cell phone and internet services were fine. „Second time staying here at Bayside Sunshine. We had no neighbors for our whole stay, so it was very peaceful and relaxing. Pros: liked all the improvements made since last time (new carpet, 2 new chairs for seating in living room area, ACs in both bedrooms, etc.) The area and the views are spectacular. „this time of year is the start of a busy summer, especially since Bike Week was extended for it's 100th anniversary. Suprisingly, the entire week was very peaceful. The other visitors in the area were very friendly as well. The owners don't bother you on a daily basis. For the most part, they let you know they are there if you need anything, and they are easy to contact if necessary. I loved sitting on the newly built deck to have my morning coffee and do some work before the heat increased. ...

„Lovely cabin with a dock right on the water. There is a grill, fire pit, and a screened in porch. Only downfall was the driveway is hard to find and there is no wifi but there may not be wifi available in the area. Otherwise we had a great stay!! Highly recommend.“
