Lakefront home - Walk to restaurants - Deep water - LOCATION!!

Relax with a drink after a long day of watersports and watch a beautiful sunset at this peaceful Lake Oconee home with a HUGE water view. DEEP WATER (7 feet). Easy walk to dinner or grab a beer at the growler bar. The home is stocked with all your amenities so you can enjoy your vacation.

This 4-bedroom home is located in the lake's most convenient LOCATION with wonderful main lake views and private max dock access. Cute brick ranch home with open floor plan that has been renovated/upgraded with hardwood flooring, updated kitchen with granite counter tops, tile backsplash and stainless steel appliances, living room, master bedroom suite and 2 bedrooms on the main floor. Downstairs you find a spacious family room, bedroom/bunkroom, and bathroom.

Relax on the large porch with a roof, fan, TV, and listen to music through the Sonos speakers. The fire pit on the deck is great for s’mores or spending family time. Play basketball on the basketball hoop in the driveway (basketball provided). The large yard is perfect for games, throwing a football, or taking an afternoon nap in the hammock. The walk down to the water is a gentle slope, where you can fish, jump off the dock, or relax on Adirondack chairs on the spacious dock.
Outside is an awesome vaulted covered deck facing the lake. with TV. Also, two open deck areas. Wifi throughout the house and at the dock.

LOCATION:
Grocery: Publix is 2.3 miles down the street which is an easy 5-minute drive.
Nice Liquor Store: Next to Publix
The Ritz and Reynolds are an easy 4 mile drive
Downtown Greensboro is a straight shot about 15-20 minute up Hwy 44
Many places are 1/4 mile away (you can walk...easy peasy!)
--Dollar General, 44 Draft House Growler Bar (25 beers on tap), Sweet Kneads (bakery), Lake Oconee Bistro (Restaurant & Bar), Lake House Gastro Pub, Dough Daddy (Pizza), and Silver Moon (Local restaurant about 1/2 mile away). There are many other excellent restaurants that are a short drive.

All of the TVs have DirecTV Stream, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video so you can watch live sports or watch your current favorite streaming show.

Just around the corner are Anchors Marina (for renting a boat, boat ramp, & gas) and Young Harris Rentals (for kayaks, boats, jet skis, & tubes)

There are 4 bedrooms and 4 baths. The master bedroom has a king bed, a flat screen TV, office area, and a private bath with large shower. There are two other bedrooms on the main level; each with a queen bed & TV.
Downstairs has two full beds, living area, PlayStation, foosballl table, and a bunk room with 6 twin beds which is perfect as a kid hang out area.

There are two office spaces (one with a monitor) with water views if you can't get 100% away from work.

Plenty of seating for dining. Choose from the large dining table, bar stools surrounding the kitchen, or the large back porch table.

Dock: Large dock with 4 Adirondack chairs and two Sunning chairs. Lake Ladder, cleats to tie up your boat, Lights, internet, and speakers at the dock.
Outside: Large yard, rocking chair front porch, basketball hoop & ball, hammock, swing, 2 child kayaks w/kid life jackets. Pedal boat seats up to 5. Please bring life jackets to be safe that fit your group.
Driveway - large space for parking several vehicles and trailers.

Kitchen: microwave, dishwasher, ice maker, Standard coffee maker, Keurig, Blender, Toaster, Pots, Pans, Dishes, and basic seasonings/herbs.

This is our home away from home. and is in a residential area. Smoking is not allowed inside. No pets please. Respect quiet hours.

Excellent Stay!
A group of 8 of us stayed for a weekend girls getaway. We loved the ample seating in the kitchen and the large back patio and dock area. Relatively quiet area of the lake. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for a group of women!

Nice, but needs some TLC!
The property was beautiful and at a great location. However, there were dead spiders and spider webs everywhere. We were not able to sit on some of the outdoor furniture because it had stains and spider webs on it. We went to enjoy the outdoor space, but we were not able to. We had to sweep and clear off the webs where we did sit. There were dead leaves throughout the deck space. The outdoor deck needs to be blown off and pressure washed. For guest paying to use the space, all areas should be made clean and comfortable. The bottoms of our white socks were very dirty after walking on the floors on the main level. The home is nice. It needs more attention and TLC. If we could have enjoyed the full outdoor space, a higher rating may have been more deserved. This could have been an annual gathering spot, but lack of attention to the outdoor space is a huge turn off.

Fantastic Stay!
What a wonderful stay! We had 6 adults & 4 kids (ages 8-17). We were all so comfortable with the set-up of the home. The kids had a separate basement with bunks, living area/sofa, TV, games, bathroom etc. The adults had the upstairs area with 3 bedrooms, living area, 3 bathrooms! The outdoor deck was perfect for hanging out with a gorgeous view of the lake. The kids enjoyed the deep water, kayaks & paddle boat. We made all our meals there, which was super convenient. But we were also walking distance to several places as well. I hit the Saturday morning Farmer's Market & bought a lot of great produce. Steve was super responsive & very nice. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!

Perfect Friends & Family Stay
This house was perfect for our two families (group of 10)! The basement was perfect for all the kids and teens and the bedrooms were all well appointed and comfortable. The view, the porch and the dock were the highlights! A perfect place to gather at the lake. We had everything we needed and more!

Great Place to stay
Had a bass tournament on this lake and this place offered everything we needed. Great location. Big common areas, plenty of beds for everyone. Lots if space for parking trucks with boats trailers. I highly recommend staying at this property. Will try to stay again if we come this way.

Comfortable house with a big water view
This is an older home that has been very well cared for and updated. The kitchen and bathrooms appear to have been recently renovated. The back deck has an excellent big water view and is well-equipped with charcoal and gas grills, a fire pit and comfortable seating. The kitchen is well-supplied. There are TVs in all the rooms. It is walking distance to a growler bar, sports bar and a couple of good restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location with private dock! Our family of 10 plus an infant had plenty of room and very comfortable. The back porch was our favorite area to hang out. Plenty of room in the kitchen and dining room to cook and eat in all meals. Highly recommend!

Superb Summer Stay on the Lake
We planned our annual summer trip to the lake this year after MANY years beachfront… and have already decided that we want to return next year! The property was clean, comfortable, and centrally located to dining and grocery. Our two family group rented boats each day from nearby marinas and enjoyed afternoons on the lake followed by dinners on the deck. We were able to load and unload from the house dock which made things that much easier! The marinas were easy to work with and offered a variety of watercraft.The house was extremely well-stocked with essentials often lacking in other rentals I’ve experienced, such as paper and plastic ware, garbage bags, laundry detergent, even supplies for light cleaning! It was a very pleasant surprise and allowed us to keep the space neat and comfortable throughout the stay. The bottom floor was the perfect hangout for our 5 teenagers. We certainly hope to return next summer, and are even contemplating a long weekend in the fall!

Great for Families
For our extended family of 7 adults and 5 children ranging from 1-6 years old, this property was perfect. It has a very homey feeling the minute you walk in the door and the open kitchen/living room design and huge back porch were great for allowing us to easily be in the same space without feeling over crowded. As the children get a little older we plan to park them all in the bunk room with grandma so the parents can escape to the upper bedrooms. ;-) The large dock is very convenient to the house and the two kid-sized kayaks were thoroughly enjoyed by the children. We especially appreciated being so close to shopping so we didn't have to carry in so much and our meals could be more flexible. This is our twelfth year of renting lake houses and the consensus of the adult children is that we want to come back to this one next year.

Great Getaway
We held an exec training retreat at the lake, and this house suited our needs perfectly. It had plenty of seating on the main level for dining and learning, and the downstairs rec room was ideal for late night chats and games. It was pretty cold during our visit, so we didn’t spend time outside on the back deck, but it would have been a wonderful gathering spot in better weather. The house was well-stocked with everything we needed - trash bags, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, etc. Couldn’t ask for a better place!
