The Lakeside Hideaway is the perfect vacation home for families and friends! This renovated home is very spacious with two separate kitchens and dens plus a huge sunroom and a Gameroom complete with a pool table, poker/game table, and super comfortable seating throughout the house. There are 3 bedrooms on the main level. The main bedroom has a king size bed, walk in closet, and spacious bathroom with a stand alone shower and a tub. There are two other bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and one with 2 twin beds and a trundle that will sleep 3 people. These bedrooms share a convenient full bathroom with a tub shower combo. On the main level you will also find a dining room that seats 6 and a study with a desk should you need to bring your work with you. There is a den and eat-in kitchen that is fully stocked with all you would need to create meals with your family. The Den opens up to the breathtaking sunroom. Surrounded by windows that do open up with screens so you can enjoy this room year round. Off the sunroom is a wonderful partially covered porch that is a great place for your morning coffee or breakfast. On the basement level you will find a large covered patio with a grill and plenty of seating and fantastic views of the lake. Once inside there is a cozy den that does have a sleeper sofa should you need the extra space and another fully stocked kitchen. There is a queen bedroom and full bath as well. Along with a ping pong table in a room adjoining the kitchen. The property is very spacious and sits on over an acre and is fenced in with a gate that can be closed for complete privacy. There is a large grassy area before you reach the dock. There is a paved walkway all the way to the dock and at the dock there are cleats to tie your boat up, should you have one. There is seating at the dock to relax and also steps to walk in the water and have your own private swimming retreat. We have also just added a firepit down by the lake to enjoy the cool nights during the fall and winter seasons.

Doug Ln is a private gravel road located right off of the Waterfront Marina. There are only 8 houses located on this road so it is very quiet. The area surrounding contains a small neighborhood along with many rural areas but it is conveniently located 15 minutes from shops and dining.
There is an electronic lockbox that is used for both main doors. You will be assigned a code, which will be the last 4 digits of your phone number, upon arrival and will expire on the day you check out.
There is a fairly long driveway with a circular wrap around at the main doorway. There is ample parking for your guests. There is a garage at the top of the driveway that is kept locked and not for use at the moment. The driveway continues around to the back yard but has a steep slope so it might be best to use that as a walking path only.
Should you need transportation from the Atlanta Airport there are several transportation companies that do daily trips to the area.
Please note that the two levels are not connected on the interior. There is a convenient exterior staircase that is right off the sunroom that connects the upstairs and downstairs. We do have plans to add an elevator to the interior at a later date. We do have security cameras on the exterior of the property that only detect motion. They do not view any interior space or exterior living space, just the driveway and main exterior doors.
