„While overall our stay was OK, the following was a bit disappointing: - when we came down to breakfast at 9:15 (it is served from 8am to 9:30 only), there was no food left, and we had to ask for it - bed was not comfortable (banana-bed) - our room had windows to the road, and in the morning we were woken up by traffic noise (windows were closed) - while it is a charming old house, it is slightly surprising to have post-its on the bathroom walls saying that you cannot take a bath or cannot ...

The home is well equipped: plenty of beds, multiple gathering places, pool with towels (although it was pretty cold until the pool guy came and provided help). The outdoor grill provides additional cooking space. The home is within easy driving to many places of interest. We had a nice week at this home.“

„Can’t beat this property for a large group where everyone gets a private bath. Very close to Great Barrington, and Tanglewood was an easy drive. Outdoor seating, table and firepits were appreciated accoutrements. I would stay again.“

„Older house with lots of character. We were there during a hot and humid spell and the upstairs was on the stuffy side but we were able to open most of the windows and get decent ventilation. There is a mini-split with AC in the kitchen but we had a hard time getting it to cool most of the house. We were in the area for a concert at Tanglewood and it was an easy drive. Overall a great little spot just probably a more comfortable stay in the fall and winter.“

„This house was perfect for our group. It is spacious, modern and comfortable with a great yard and views of Catamount. We loved that the house is so new and clean yet also dog friendly. The proximity to the mountain made our ski days so easy. The kitchen is well equipped and we made dinner there several nights. One small gripe: firewood not supplied for the awesome stone fireplace. But we brought our own. Overall a wonderful house and we will be back.“
