Das EINZIGE Studio-Apartment am Strand von Playa Ocotal, Guanacaste

Diese Immobilie liegt auf einem einzigartigen gemischten Sandstrand von schwarzen vulkanischen Sand und weiß zerbrochenen Schalen mit kleinen Quarzkristall, Zwinkern im Sonnenlicht. Ruhig und klar Bucht in einer größeren Bucht mit Rock-Gezeiten-Pools, in denen Jungfische durch Felsformationen geschützt sind ins Meer ragt, ein wunderbarer Ort zum Schnorcheln und Tauchen. Die Studio-Fenster und Türen stehen alle auf den Strand, der mit einem Außen-Jacuzzi und Grill auf eine Terrasse öffnen. Ein Pfad führt zum Strand etwa 10 Meter entfernt. Ein Tauchshop ist gleich um die Ecke und ein Restaurant direkt unten am Strand.
Das Studio besteht aus 2 Zimmern mit Deckenventilatoren und Klimaanlage. Schlafzimmer für ein Paar mit einem Flachbild-TV, einem Safe, Bettwäsche und Handtüchern für 2 Personen, einem eigenen Bad mit heißem fließendem Wasser und einer Küchenzeile mit 2 Herdplatten, Kühlschrank, Mixer, Mikrowelle, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine, Spülbecken, Gedecke für 2 und Töpfe, Pfannen und Geschirr. WiFi enthalten.

Perfektes Stranddomizil
Die Wohnung liegt direkt am Strand von Ocotal in einem 2 Fam. Haus. Gut ausgestattet und sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Ideal für einen Strandurlaub und Ausflüge in mehrere Nationalparks oder andere Strände. Sehr idyllisch und ruhig. Gutes Restaurant in Gehweite - 3 Minuten. Schwimmen immer möglich. Eigener Garten mit Grill und Whirlpool. Ein toller Aufenthalt. Kommen gerne wieder. Ganz herzliche Grüße an Denese und Hernen.

Excellent hosts and excellent property
My wife and I couldn’t have been happier with our stay here. The hosts are kind and friendly and made several excellent recommendations for things to do in Ocotal and even helped us map out a route to our next destination. The apartment and property were clean and comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to make some meals. We spent our evenings in the dipping pool. The beach is about 50 feet from the entrance to the apartment. The bay is beautiful and we saw dolphins near the shore on consecutive mornings. Will definitely stay here again!

Really is Right on the Beach!
Location, location, location! This rental is on a somewhat private beach just steps from the gate of the rental. Felt so safe on this beach even at night. Plenty of shade from trees on the beach. Denese even provided 2 beach chairs, 2 beach towels, and a small cooler...perfect! The interior is modest but very clean and cheerful with everything you need. The dipping pool was very nice. The only thing they could add would be mood lights around it. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone. It was a great deal and amazing!

On our way in we were concerned due to traffic and narrow roads. Once we arrived, the host greeted us and welcome us. It was a perfect little gem. Location was amazing. Little piece of paradise ✨️ Best location steps to ocean on a beautiful, tranquil beach ⛱️ Outdoor space was beautiful with little dipping pool and gorgeous plants and flowers. Denese and Hernan are the Hosts with the Mosts! They really go out of their way to make your stay an amazing one, providing you anything you can need, including help with transfers and other transportation needs. I was really happy to have met them as they made my stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Father Rooster is next door, it's a nice popular restaurant. The town of Coco is a 5-10 minute drive away for your shopping needs and has various restaurants. Overall I loved it and can't wait to go back 💖💞🇨🇷 Hasta Pronto

Great hosts. Great location.
Great hosts and location is awesome. Access to the beach right out of your backyard. Internet was reliable. Studio is basic and does need an upgrade and host said plans are in the works during downtime. Father Roosters is next door and good food if you want a night out. Coco Beach is about 10 mins by car. Shops have all the same stuff unfortunately. Water drinkable in the studio. Large shower. Small soaker pool on site and three other pools available for guests. Beach is clean and was not too busy which we appreciated. Good snorkelling. Small convenience store nearby but Supermarket in Coco is recommended for groceries.

A Little Piece of Paradise
This apartment is located right on the ocean. There is a beautiful view of the ocean from the back yard/patio and yet it is very private. The apartment is quite roomy for 2 people and is well stocked. Denese, the host, was very thoughtful about leaving coffee and other staples we might need until we could get to the store. There were enough towels, including beach towels and beach chairs. Denese was very accessible and provided lots of good information about the apartment, complex and area. We enjoyed talking with her. Not only was the ocean right there but the apartment came with access to 3 swimming pools in the complex. The only downside, if it can be called a downside, was that there is only one restaurant within walking distance of the apartment. Others required a taxi into the town of Coco. This was outweighed by the quiet, beautiful beach away from the crowded party beaches. We were able to snorkel, walk the beach and relax. We hope to be back and would highly recommend this apartment.

Wonderful in ALL ways!
What a perfect little hideaway in a beautiful place! Denese and Hernan are great! Great communication and full of good and useful information about the area and things to do. The place itself is lovely and very clean with all the things you need. We very much enjoyed our stay (wish it had been longer as there was still so much to explore). We have already recommended it to friends and hope to return if our travels ever bring us back to Costa Rica. Here are a few other things that might be helpful to others: GREAT snorkeling right from the beach! We saw cool stuff on both ends of the beach. Father Roosters has the best fish tacos ever and is a short, lovely beach walk away. Coco is within walking distance (it took us about 45 minutes). It was hot but a fun and interesting walk into town for coffee and breakfast. There are taxis available ($9) but we chose to walk there and taxi back. Easy to get to the airport (thank you Hernan!) We HIGHLY recommend this place- it was wonderful!

Adequate property if you are looking for a place to sleep and spend little down time. The place is small (studio as advertised) and the accommodations limited. The terrace/patio area is surrounded by lush vegetation which attracts insects. Even with bug spray we were bitten by insects several times. Overall is an adequate property for short days. The plus is you are right on Ocotal beach, feet away from the sand and half hour from the airport.

The drive out there is like playing Mario Kart, quite the adventure with oncoming bicycles laden with children, potholes, and trucks coming at you from the other direction. The beach is right out the door and we had a great time swimming in the ocean. Kitchen is super small but enough to make eggs and some oatmeal. The host was very friendly and helpful. We had a great time.

Ocotal is the best beach. it is quiet, beautiful and has one restaurant you can walk to. the tide pools are amazing and ocean swimming is a must! all beautiful black sand, no seaweed or algae..... This studio is prefect. the dipping pool is warm but refreshing. the beach is steps away and very safe, plus the pools in the community are great too. It is not a party town, or full or people. coco beach is 15 mins awayand offers all that craziness. Ocotal is peaceful. the studio has cold a/c, warm showers and a perfect kitchen. we will be back

Relaxed and recharged after our stay!
Denese and Hernan were so welcoming and pleasant! She took the time to answer all my questions before and after booking their sweet apartment. They were wonderful hosts, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay.. Our favorite amenities were: the comfortable bed, variety of cookware, A/C, large shower with great water pressure, ceiling fans, plenty of hooks to hang wet suits and towels, outdoor table and chairs, a plunge pool and best of all, 2 resident iguanas! Charlie and Carlie Azul hung out by the pool with us every day. We loved walking out the gate and onto the beach as well as falling asleep to the sound of the waves. Father Rooster's is a short stroll down the beach and we ate there several times. When we needed groceries or a change of pace, Playa del Coco was a quick taxi ride or 30-40 minute walk. While we didn't find the snorkeling to be particularly great during our stay, the warm water and beautiful black sand beach more than made up for it! Playa Ocotal didn't get many visitors during the week but the weekends were quite busy as everyone vied for shady spots under the trees. We loved being able to go for a stroll on the beach, back to the apartment for a snack and swimsuits, return to the beach for a swim, then back to hose off the sand, mix up a drink and take a dip in the plunge pool.
