The circuit in the room downstairs kept switching off during the night so the fan kept turning off which made for a very uncomfortable stay for one of the families we were with. „The Lakeside Boathouse was perfect for our needs. It is exceptionally clean, well-decorated, with comfortable beds! There were only two of us, and although the property is listed for up to six people, it would have been quite cosy with even four people unless the weather allowed sitting outside.As stated in the description, the house is not actually on the lake, and it's worth noting that the location is very quiet and quite a distance from shops and beaches.“

I would definitely recommend this property for large families, they have a fire pit which was good for roasting marshmallows for the kids, a lot of ground to play activities on. I would recommend taking towels as these are not provided and tea towels as there was 2 available but when you have big families you will need more to help with the cleaning up. We would definitely be interested in future accommodation with this property. Thank you.“

„The property was very clean and well presented and in a good location. the views from the balcony were beautiful. however the property is badly let down by the lack of things you would normally find in any holiday accommodation. No Wi-Fi, no towels provided and no bed linen also there is no air conditioning nor any celing fans. So you can see our overhaul disappointment.“
