„Clean, spacious, beautiful views, lots of games and things to do. We’re already planning our next trip there! The upper back deck and lower porch were amazing!You may want to bring K-cups for coffee as the brewer is a bit slow but the Keurig is quick! Also, the master bath doesn’t have a have a shower but it does have a jacuzzi.“

„Not my favorite place to stay, but for the price it worked. The pool table and ping-pong table were great additions for something to do. Kitchen had adequate equipment. Love that they accept pets. Nothing specifically wrong just a well used house. If you’re looking for matching towels, namebrand toiletries or nice decor this would not be your cabin, but we enjoyed it for the weekend for what we needed.“

„This was such a great place to stay! The gift basket was a nice touch and so thoughtful. The place is secluded so make sure you bring groceries. The hot tub was great as well. We cooked steaks and sat on the porch. The wild life was beautiful. We also took the ATV on trials around the property. The host was very sweet and accommodating. We will definitely return.“

Every new year for the past 5 years, our two families celebrate the new year together and this house and location worked well for our two families of 4 and our two 4-legged family members. Would stay again and can’t beat the location….the White River is literally in the backyard.“

I will say the carpets and walls could use a deep cleaning, they’re just a bit marked and stained from the years as well as some of the outdoor furniture, but most definitely not a deal breaker. Even though this was the hottest first weekend in October ever,the fans on the deck and the shady trees made it just fine. I would love to stay here again in the future just for fun. „Everything was as advertised. Was clean and tidy and had all the basics needed. Comfy and warm inside even when temps dropped below freezing. Check-in was easy, owner was responsive and kind. Loved that we were surrounded on three sides by cow pastures and house was set back a ways from low-traffic road. Was very peaceful. But also only 10-15 mins from town. Would stay here again. “

„Perfect place to getaway and unwind. I spent a lot of my time reading by the fireplace while my husband enjoyed fishing from the private dock. Lacey was an exceptional host! Very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay by a couple of days. We can’t wait to book again! “

„We always love staying here when we meet family at the state park for a reunion. Anytime of the year, the back sitting room facing the river is so peaceful. Quiet location and very private. Just perfect for a weekend getaway. “
