A Short's Walk - Sandy Lakefront with Spa / Hot Tub and Kayaks!

This is a gorgeous newly remodeled home right on Bass Lake in hip and trendy Elk Rapids! It includes a private sandy lakefront, large lakefront deck, NEW YEAR-ROUND SPA / HOT TUB, 2 kayaks, 2 bikes, a bonfire ring, a 1-car garage, and a gas grill. Plus high-speed Wi-Fi and live streaming television! Gorgeous lakeviews from inside! Grassy yard for kids. Washer and dryer. Also just a short approx. 150 yard walk from the famous Short's Brewery where you can drink and relax!


NEIGHBORHOOD:

The home is just outside of downtown Elk Rapids on Bass Lake. It is very close (approx. 150 yards) from the famous Short's Brewery in Elk Rapids, where you can dine and enjoy Short's famous beers. It's just a short drive (less than 5 minutes) to downtown Elk Rapids, which has a fun collection of shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars. There's also a very nice beach on Lake Michigan at the end of the downtown area.

Outside of Elk Rapids, the cottage is close to the famous Torch Lake, Traverse City, Charlevoix, and Petoskey, all of which provide a myriad of things to do and see.

(1) HOT TUB: To keep the hot tub clean, smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited while in the hot tub. If the hot tub is left excessively dirty, guests will be charged for draining, cleaning, and refilling the hot tub.

Loved the neighbors and the neighborhood. Very quite. Nice place to walk our dogs down a dead end road with no traffic. House was very clean. We loved the fire pit! Thank you for the wonderful stay! We will come again!

Perfect Location! Family and Pet Friendly.
House has very clean and thoughtfully stocked. Excellent location with a quick walk to Shorts Brewery. Beautiful beach “Old Sun Bather Beach” was a short walk, but across a four lane highway, too fast for small children walking on a curve. Lake view is very nice, quiet amd secluded. Kayaks were fun for kids. Downtown is quant and good food choices. Wish the home had air conditioning. Family had fun!

Perfect Place to stay
Our family enjoyed everything about this house and the location. Walking distance to the beach on Grand Traverse Bay, Walking distance to downtown Elk Rapids. Several restaurants within walking distance. House was very secluded in the woods next to a beautiful lake. We used the kayaks provided every day. The boys used the hot tub. Beds were extremely comfortable. The house does not have AC, but we ran the fans provided and slept very comfortably. Kitchen was really nice and updated. This place has everything you need for a great vacation stay. We will definitely be back.

Great Getaway!!!
The house was absolutely perfect for my friends and I (4 of us total) to spend a weekend on the lake. The beds are all amazingly comfortable, and the hot tub became a nightly ritual of winding down before going to bed! Would absolutely love to be a guest again sometime!!! :)

Where to start. This place is amazing. We have rented 10 or so cabins in that part of michigan and this place is by far the best. Best and most comfortable beds, the lake is amazing. We used the hot tub and kayaks every day. Had loons on the lake and babcat even paid us a visit!!! Great location!

This property is at a great location, right on the Bass Lake, and Lake Michigan is just across the street. The local property manager, Tabitha, is awesome, very responsive and helpful. The beds are comfortable. The dinnerware is plastic and minimalistic; it would have been much better to have real dinnerware. But, all in all we had a good stay.

We really loved this place!
This house felt very scluded, yet was really close to town and little shops when u felt like getting out to explore. The lake veiw right outside the kitchen and living room was amazing. We really loved it because we like to bird watch and there was plenty of them hanging out on the water. We had an issue with the back porch light the very first night and they came right out and changed the bulbs for us. Tabitha is very sweet and easy to get ahold of. The house was very clean and cozy and the hot tub was really nice to relax in before curling up and watching a movie. We hope to be back in the summer when we can use the beach and hang out outside more.
