Shenandoah National Park und Skyline Drive sind unsere Nachbarn. Über 180 Hektar abgelegenes Grundstück, das an den Shenandoah Nationalpark grenzt, aber nur 1 Meile vom Highway 33 entfernt.
Genießen Sie Angeln in unserem privaten Teich und Wandern auf unseren Wegen.
Diese abgelegene Hütte ist perfekt für Familien oder ein Paar Rückzug, sehr sauber und komfortabel, komplett mit einer voll ausgestatteten Küche, einem großen Flachbild-TV mit Ledersofa und Stühlen, Jacuzzi-Badewanne und drei private Schlafzimmer. Viel Platz, um auf der Veranda zu entspannen und einen Panoramablick zu genießen, oder gemütlich in den kühleren Monaten zum Holzkamin. Viel Spaß beim Sammeln in der Feuerstelle und in zwei Picknickhütten. Der große Garten ist sehr angenehm für die Verbindung mit der Natur. Mit dem Internetzugang können Sie mit der Welt um Sie herum verbunden bleiben
Drei Minuten zum Eingang des Shenandoah National Park und Skyline Drive, auch zum öffentlichen Schwimmbad, und Bootsanlegestellen am Shenandoah River. Nur 8 Minuten Fahrt zum Eingang des Massanutten Four Seasons Ski Resort (Skifahren, Golf, Schwimmen und Wasserpark). Eine kurze 30 Minuten von Luray Caverns, 20 Minuten zu JMU & EMU und 45 Minuten nach Charlottesville.
Nur Minuten in die Stadt mit großen Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, nur für den Fall, dass Sie etwas brauchen.

Great time
Great secluded cabin close to the park. Really enjoyed the quiet and the view at the cabin. Front porch was great for some relaxation time. It was everything that was described and the owner is super easy to work with.

Great getaway near Elkton
Looking for a cabin tucked away in the Shenandoah foothills? Excellent three bedroom option near Elkton. Sit and drink your morning coffee or clink your evening wine glass on one of two lovely porch swings overlooking the surrounding vistas. We had a wonderful time celebrating my wife's birthday and relaxing. The property manager was a delight.

Even More Beautiful Than Expected
We stayed here for two nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The cabin is gorgeous and so is the property. We loved the firepit and the full kitchen. We spent two days at Massanutten and it was close enough but it was also nice to have all the restaurants in Elkton.

Anniversary trip
There were balloons and candy for our anniversary which was so thoughtful. The cabin was lovely, very clean and fully stocked. We enjoyed grilling out on back deck and sitting around fire pit. The cabin was back off the beaten path and was so quiet and rwlqcing. We would definitely go back and stay again!

Shenandoah National Park Stay
We were on our last stop on a national Park Loop from Pittsburgh and we enjoyed the quiet solitude of the cabin Plus Elkton is just a few miles away with plenty of places to eat (Old 33 Burger and Brew was visited twice). As listed the cabin is just a few miles away from the park entrance and the Skyline Drive as well as plenty of hiking. Just as a side note you are on the west side of the mountains so if you want to hike Old Rag it's a little bit of a drive but enjoyable and the view is well worth it And the highlight of my wife's stay was the pastries Ms. McDaniel left for her dessert stomach!

Another fabulous stay!
My husband and I have stayed many times at this beautiful cabin, and when I noticed that Memorial Day weekend was open, we jumped at the chance! Brenda always makes every visit memorable, and this was no exception. This time we went to the Elkton Brewing company for a couple of drinks, always so pleasant, and sometimes with live music! A treasure just minutes away from the cabin. My husband caught a few bass, perfect for bass and eggs in the mornings. We will be back soon to enjoy this peace and quiet slice of heaven.

Great cabin stay
This was a quintessential log cabin with excellent access to the Shenandoah national park. There were 4 of us and we all had plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked. Although it rained the whole time, we still enjoyed the property and utilized the fireplace. There were a lot of mounted deer heads which definitely added character! Overall, the cabin felt very homey and would come back with friends later to explore more

40th anniversary
This place was so perfect to reflect & relax. When we walked in the house there was a beautiful bouquet of roses and a card from Ms McDaniel. We enjoyed seeing so much wildlife and just unplugging from the stress of everyday life. So special for us and we will be going back.

Wonderful cabin borders National Park
Very private cabin far off main road. Three bedrooms in very good condition. Nice large bathroom with double sinks and jetted tub. Beautiful shower doors. Fields in front where we saw turkey and deer. Pond has a lot of fish and was fun to fish for bass and bream. Near Elkton for food or dinners. Short drive to entrance station at Swift Run gap for Shenandoah Nat'l Park. Fully recommend this cabin!

Weekend Retreat
From the description on the VRBO website we knew the place was going to be perfect for our ladies weekend away. When we arrived it was more than we expected. It was wonderful! Clean, well stocked, nice linens and set up for a relaxing time. Close to the national park entrance and all the hiking you want to do. Host was prompt with answering questions and very kind. Would recommend and would come back!

Celebration of Life
Enjoyed celebrating a 60th birthday of peace and relaxation. Nice and cozy place, sitting around the fire enjoying our glasses of wine. Truly like the decor and warmth but it felt like we were away from everyone else. The place was truly what was described and all it offered. As the birthday girl described it: simple but wonderful, just the way she wanted. I look forward to a Spring or Fall rental.

We will be back !
What a lovely cabin, and the property was heaven on earth! We fished in the stocked pond, explored the property for hours, hiking in the woods and through the fields. We enjoyed sunsets outside at the fire pit, and cozy nights by the fire inside the cabin. Coffee was in the front porch swing looking at the mountains that surrounded us. Everything was spotlessly clean, and Brenda was very quick to respond to any questions I had. The kitchen was not just stocked, it was WELL stocked with good cookware and every gadget you could need. We cannot wait to return, 5 stars for everything!
