„The property was as described. The old farmhouse was a nice balance of vintage with modern amenities. The decor was equally balanced with farmhouse and modern. The kitchen was well equipped and the owner made sure we were able to locate the essentials with ease. Our grandkids loved making smores by the firepit on the property. „Positiv: Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und hat alles was man braucht um sich wohl zu fühlen. Auch in der Küche ist alles vorhanden. Die Umgebung bietet viele Möglichkeiten um etwas zu unternehmen. Negativ: Die Klimaanlage kühlt leider nur den unteren Stock und nicht die Schlafzimmer. Die Betten sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Nachbar war recht unfreundlich und gegenüber Fremden nicht besonders offen. Der Zugang zum Fluss war leider zugewuchert.“

I love the small touches the host included around the house such as board games for some of the other children with us and baby books for my infants. „Cute farmhouse has a wonderful pool and hot tub! It’s on the outskirts of Luray, so plan on driving a bit to see the sights but it’s nice and quiet. There’s lots of levels to spread out in the house. Owner was very responsive and helpful with local suggestions of things to do and places to go. We enjoyed Skyline Drive in Shenandoah State Park that was about an hour from the house. “

„This property was perfect. We used the fire pit, watched thunderstorms from the porch, floated in the river, slept in the very comfy bed and had a perfect long weekend. I'd love to come back someday.“
