Timber Point was perfect for us. The property was everything we had hoped for and more. There were 2 couples, each with our own floor and bathroom. It’s located on the end of a point, quiet and peaceful. Amazing views of the cove, watching the tides, and plentiful wildlife, (nightly visits of the docile Pete the porcupine, family of deer strolling thru back yard, snow hare and an abundance of seagulls and other birds feasting during low tide. One of our highlights of the area was Schoodic Point on the east side of Acadia Park on the mainland. Crashing waves against the rugged rocks was awe inspiring. We visited Winter Harbor and had butter dripped lobster rolls and saw other great places (US bell foundry) Don’t miss this area. We also visited Acadia Park on Desert island. Spectacular views from top of Cadillac Mountain and lunch at Jordan pond are not to be missed. Also of course several other areas, hikes, etc to experience. We were delayed by Hurricane Lee, but it was worth the wait. Highly recommend!
