Annual couples trip
We have stay at alot of places over the years, but this is our favorite! Location is great and so quiet. The covered porch and fireplace is where we stayed most of the time. The cabin is well stocked, even had firewood and Firestarters, heaters outside on porch and speakers. Inside games and even had all the things to make smores. The bathroom floors were heated as well. Beds very comfortable. They have really gone beyond to make a great cabin in the mountains. We will be returning again and can't wait. Thanks for a wonderful time!!

We all loved our stay at this cabin. It was beautiful, so clean, and came well stocked with any and all needs. We were amazed by the offerings and amenities from games to the firepit, s’mores ready to go, the detailed guide book and large hot tub! It was so fun that our friends are looking at booking it for the future as well.

5 Days in Paradise
There is no easy way to put in words how wonderful our stay was at this beautiful cabin. There were 5 of us (my parents, my sister, my brother in law, and myself). We had so much space! I had the enitre downstairs suite to myself with an extra bedroom. This cabin could easily accommodate a party twice our size and still have plenty of room to spread out and breathe. Our whole family unit was exhausted and burntout from work and this was the absolute perfect space to escape to for some relaxation. From beautiful fireplaces to curl up in front of in every living space, to the absolutely stunning outdoor wood burning fireplace and sitting area (we had to drag my mom back inside every night), to the expansive deck with the perfect lounging chairs to sunbathe in and read a book, to the fun hot tub with the cute duckling light that made everyone smile, to the gorgeous (seriously, those countertops are amazing) fully stocked kitchen, and so much more that made this trip exactly what we needed it to be, a casual trip to paradise.

We are a group of 10 retired teachers who travel together twice a year for a beach and mountain girls’ trip. We’ve been booking rental properties for 27 straight years and have to put Maple Whiskey Cove at the top of our rental experiences. It is a beautiful home with outstanding views, porches, kitchens, bedrooms and baths. The plethora of supplied items topped any home we’ve visited. I wish there was a way to attach our cute group picture made in the spa robes provided for our use. We will be back!

Rest and Relaxation in a luxury cabin.
This is a second time we are staying in this cabin. Last year we were extremely impressed with the accommodations. So as soon as we find out this cabin was available for the dates we wanted to travel we booked it right away. This cabin is better stocked than my own house. They have cork screw, ice cream scooper, all the grilling equipment you could ever want, Dutch oven, air fryer, Instapot, charcuterie board, you name it. It is well stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, kitchen foil, dishwasher pods, you get the idea. Every time we stay at this cabin, we are so grateful that the owners are spending so much time and money to keep their guests comfortable and lacking for nothing. they also provide detailed instruction for the grills, hot tub, electronic equipment on their website, and if you are not great at following written instructions, they are just a phone call away to provide help. 10/10 Every time!! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful vacation home with with us. We loved every minute spent at this luxurious place.

Absolutely Gorgeous
You won’t regret staying here, it was absolutely gorgeous. From the beautiful Mountain View on the back porch, to the big hot tub, and the steam showers – it was everything we wanted in our girls weekend. It was a bit tricky getting there, but I mostly blame that on us driving up at night. I would definitely come back!

Outstanding layout. One couple used top floor with bedroom bathroom & sitting room as well as large balcony which accommodates morning yoga while watching the deer. Ground floor with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining room & wrap around balcony with fireplace, TV, dining table for 8. Best balcony feature is railing with protective bars. Felt safe with 3.5 year old out there playing. She loved the large jinga blocks. Our son family of 4. Had 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen family room with games. They used the hot tub on the balcony a lot. We loved seeing the deer & turkeys. All 8 of us had a blast and whenever one got tired you could disappear to your solitude. Catherine is a great hostess who has thought of everything .Thanks for sharing your house with us.

This place was beautiful, comfortable and so relaxing. The steam showers, the bath tub, the views made us feel like we were at a private resort. All of the amenities included were amazing and convenient. The house was spotless. The host was great with communication. My family had so much to do and my little ones each had an area to relax. We Plan on Being back!
We absolutely loved this cabin. It was clean and all the appliances and items in the cabin were of higher quality. The master bathroom even had heated floors and a towel heater as well! One part of the driveway was a little tricky so I don't recommend if you have poor eyesight but the views were fabulous and it was really conveniently located just 15-20 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. Make sure you get the wifi information prior to arriving at the cabin though as there is little to zero cell service without it.

Cabin on the Hill
My husband and I hosted a couples retreat and we couldn’t have chose a better property. The location was secluded and only 20-mins from the city of Blue Ridge. The drive to the cabin can be challenging with all the curves and wildlife. We highly recommend arriving during daylight hours to familiarize yourself with the area. The property is amazing. The driveway is a bit scary, a cut out of the mountain on one side and a cliff on the other. It’s definitely large enough for 4-5 vehicles. The house was way more than we expected. The pictures don’t capture all of the beauty and tranquility the house offers. The floor plan was perfect. We were a group of 3 couples, but could have have easily and comfortably housed 4 couples. Each couple had their own floor, their own bathroom, and their own balcony. It was too cold for us to enjoy the balconies although there is a fire place and there are heaters strategically placed on each floor. Catherine was a great host. The property had everything you can think of. You only have to bring your groceries and your adult beverages. All of the 5 star reviews are true. We highly recommend this property. You will not be disappointed. We will be back, when it’s a bit warmer.

We celebrated my Sister’s 40th birthday by surprising her with this gorgeous house! From the moment I booked, Catherine has been a phenomenal host and truly has put thought into every accommodation! Five Star Cabin
Went with a few other couples for my husband's 40th birthday. Excellent amenities provided in this beautiful cabin. We had a private chef come prepare dinner one evening. There was plenty of space for her in the kitchen. Hot tub is very large, steam shower and heated bathroom floors in the master, poker table. They had it all! Host was very accommodating and helpful with any questions we had. Would come back again.
