This historic little farm house has all the modern amenities and the convenience of being located in the heart of Escalante. This beautifully renovated 2 bedroom home has all the comforts you’d expect for a restful stay, including a truly amazing sectional couch with four power reclining seats that everyone can relax in after an awesome day of hiking, as well as central heat & a/c, 4K Smart TV, Keurig coffee maker, on demand hot water, water softener, and comfortable new beds and mattresses.

Great hidden gem
Our party of 4 stayed at Haven on Highway 12 while visiting Bryce Canyon for two nights. The house was perfect, very clean and comfortable. It had everything you could need and more. Convenient walk to grocery store and a few restaurants. We ate dinner our first night at the Escalante Outfitters, we sat outside and had cold beers, homemade pizza and salads. The food was delicious! We played corn hole that night and lite the fire pit and viewed the stars. We spent a full day at Bryce the following day and came back to this lovely home for hot showers and treated ourselves to an incredible dinner at the North Creek Grill, we sat outside as the sun was setting and had a gourmet dinner. I would highly recommend this rental home and the 2 restaurants we had dinner at. Rent this house, you will not be disappointed it is perhaps a 30 minute drive to the park.

Outstanding House to explore Escalante Area
My wife and I stayed in this great house for 8 nights to explore Escalante area and Bryce Canyon Nat'l Park. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, beautiful living room with super large tv and two bedrooms. It is ideally located near markets, restaurants, food trucks, visitor center and Heritage Center. The house has off the street private parking. It has a patio with chairs and fire pit. Has trees to provide shade as needed. We did different hikes every day including many slot canyons. We took two half day tours with Roam Adventures which were OUTSTANDING! (Peek-a-boo, Spooky, Dry Gulch Narrows Tour and the Bighorn Slot Canyon Tour). Don't miss Devil's Garden, Cottonwood Narrows Slot Canyon and hike to Lower Calf Canyon Falls. The host Burke was very helpful. We ate breakfast twice at Magnolias Food Truck and lunch/dinner twice at Escalante Outfitters. Food was great. Dan & Karen M Old Bridge, NJ

The home was clean and comfortable. Good location for visiting Capitol Reef and Bryce Canyon. Wish it had a washer and dryer but we made do without. We would definitely stay here again. It was a great value.

Cute, Clean, and Cozy.
This home was so clean, sheets smelled good as if they were just out of the wash. Single serving Kurig machine and grab n' go snacks were a definite plus. Communication from owners was great. Firepit area was well thought out. There is so much to do near Escalante, and this is a perfect evening retreat to recharge and prepare for another day out!

Beautiful home! Great location for what we were interested in. Comfy beds. Crazy comfortable couch! If we weren’t interested in hiking we would have stayed in a reclined position for 2 days! Easy to talk with Burke concerning check in etc. Great restaurant in town (Escalante Outfitters)which ‘saved our lives’ since we arrived late without groceries. Wonderful!
My husband and I were on a multiple day trip with my elderly parents to visit the Grand Canyon and Big 5 National Parks. We stayed at this lovely home for just one night. It is very cute and the updates are so nice! We appreciated the coffee/hot chocolate and small bowl of snacks as we arrived late in the evening. My parents stayed in the room with the queen bed and my husband and I slept in the smaller room with the bunk beds. I can't remember the last time I slept in a bunk bed - but it was great! All the beds were so comfy - all of us had a great night's sleep! Don't hesitate to rent this cute home even if you are traveling as two couples. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the fire pit and 2 hammocks chairs that were hanging from the tree. Loved our stay here!

Excellent Basecamp!
Our family just finished a fantastic 5 night stay at the Haven. It was the perfect home base for outdoor adventures with our kids (4 and 6). The cottage was big enough for us to spread out a bit, but still very cozy during the chilly spring mornings. Everything was simple and clean, and you can tell Burke focused on high quality touches when remodeling the property (floors, countertops, fixtures, etc). Everything worked flawlessly. The basket of snacks was a nice bonus as the grocery store was not open when we arrived on a Sunday. Will definitely stay again next time we’re in the area!
