Had most of what we needed however it tended to be on the bare minimum side of supplies ( one hand towel in the bathroom was not enough, one tea towel in the kitchen, same story. ) small shortcomings I know but it would have made a difference to have a few extra towels etc. Aircons in all bedrooms was good, beds comfortable. „From the moment we turned in to a well maintained gravel driveway my blood pressure dropped as we drove up to Chaffcutter cottage, and when we met the owners who welcomed us warmly and who had prepared everything for our enjoyment, we knew we were in for a relaxing, care-free break. The magnificent old Peppercorn tree shading the front garden and the lush green lawns surrounding the cottage provided the ideal areas for our Cavoodle to chase the ball - and the birds. „An absolutely wonderful property. Peace and quiet with only birds and wildlife for company. Wonderful hosts who seemed to have thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Basic breakfast supplies were very welcome. The cottage is situated close to local attractions. We were so relaxed we did not want to leave. “

„Was originally put off with the BROWN Paint on the external metal as it appeared old and rusted. I was incorrect, the place is new and the paint was new. Just an optical illusion. They supplied Fresh Bread and Local Jams. Being Country people they offered a warm welcome. Down stairs double bedroom, with door, Upstairs was Double Bed and Single Bed, in an open environment. Accomodation was immaculate with all the Kitchen utensils and plates and bowls etc. Great for a country get away“

„We were looking to escape the city and this little cottage was perfect! Great hosts, long walks around the property, collecting eggs on the way back for breakfast... what more could you ask for! Nothing fancy, just right to wind down and relax in the countryside.“

„The cottage plus outside air-conditioned "shed" was great for our group of 5 couples. The only small downside was that the 3 ensuite bathrooms, meant you always had to go through someone's bedroom to get to a loo/bathroom.The hosts were lovely people, even getting the pizza oven fire going and preparing some pizza dough for us ready for Friday evening. Sitting on the deck with a coffee watching the hay baling was a very nice experience.Everyone very much enjoyed the 3-night stay. “
