We really enjoyed this property and our stay here. The inside of the lodge is well-kept up. The beds are comfy. There are lots of taxidermy, which my 7 and 9 year olds were afraid of, at first, and only hesitant toward at the end. The pool table is nice. I couldn't find access to any wifi, which in some ways added to the relaxation, though I still had cell/data service through my Verizon provider. The dock is a lovely place to sit and watch the sunrises or sunsets or do some fishing. The sunrises and sunsets aren't truly visible from the dock, not in the way you might like to see the sun directly on the water, because the sun rises and sets in the far corners of the lake behind all the trees. The night skies are pristine. No light pollution, so I could see all the stars and the Milky Way. There were quite a multitude of bugs along the deck, but they stayed near the lights. Water pressure and temperatures in the showers is great. I warned my kids about the random stray shotgun shells in some drawers, and they stayed away from them. I didn't see any neighbors in any of the sparse nearby houses, so we were all alone. The back deck is well lit, in case you arrive at night.
One Issue: there was a leak in the ceiling above one of the beds ... in the upstairs room that shares a door to the attached bathroom. My kid woke up in the morning thinking they'd peed the bed, but it was the leak. She switched beds.
I'd go back.
