The fact that we have returned to this property for three years in a row says it all! It is very clean and very comfortable. The host is very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We visit Streetman every year for work and this is our home away from home. This year we had an opportunity to enjoy the fire pit and the peaceful outdoor location. This property would be perfect for anyone looking to escape the city for a bit.

Perfect Place to stay when our son got married!
We rented during our sons wedding in Fairfield. It is a beautiful home and property. Well kept and clean. Host left us snacks drinks and communication was great. We had a delightful stay at this property. My sister lives nearby so it was nice to be close but also to have our own space for down time. The living room was wonderful for playing games at night and the kitchen and outdoor grill were just right for our family. :) Bathrooms were NICE!

Family Time
The property was awesome. It was close to a highway but we never heard a thing. It's remote and no other houses that we could see. Only cows over the back fence and our grands loved seeing those. It was wooded and we enjoyed the fishing and the pond. It was so much fun and we made memories to share.

My husband and I rented this house for the weekend of our daughter’s wedding. It is close to the venue and a better selection than a hotel for a group of ladies. We had the hair and makeup artist just meet the bridal party there. IT WAS PERFECT!! The house was super clean and there was plenty of space for the girls to eat, relax and get ready for the wedding. The owners were also willing to work with our schedule which made it an even more perfect place!! Definitely recommend to anyone looking!!

The Perfect Place!
I will start with, we will be back! It was such a lovely place! The decor was rustic and we truly felt welcomed! ! It has everything you could think of (or forgot to pack)! Beds, so comfortable! Very clean and spacious! A few of my favorite moments was having the family sit outside on the long table eating our thanksgiving dinner & then as the sun started to go down, we all decided to play hide and seek outside! So many beautiful trees to hide behind! We all laughed until our sides hurt. Niccole, the owner, was also so attentive and kind! We were going to celebrate Thanksgiving of course but also to just be together because my baby has joined the Marines and leaves for boot camp in Jan. I know our holidays will be changing so wanted just family time and when we arrived she had a little something for me and it was so thoughtful! It was the perfect place and I’ll cherish these memories forever! ❤️

Beautiful home with everything you could possibly want in a rental. Great kitchen with plenty of dishes, utensils, pots, pans and cooking accessories. Bedrooms are roomy with very comfortable beds, top quality linens. Bathrooms are updated and roomy as well. The outside area is spacious and welcoming. There is a good amount of noise outside from the highway, but it's so lovely out there the noise goes away. Super responsive owner. Great communicator. We had no problems at all and would definitely go back if in the area.

Secluded Getaway
Our stay was PERFECT... just what we were looking for! The house/cabin is wonderful and had everything that we wanted or needed to accommodate 8 adults. The kitchen had all items needed to cook a great meal, and we also used the grill outside several times. The big screen TV and living area was ideal for the men to watch Football! We also enjoyed the acreage around the house... plenty of room for outdoor games and fun. The view of the pond was really relaxing with a morning cup of coffee. It was a great getaway! Just far enough away to feel like you are secluded but very convenient to the highway. Niccole was a dream to work with, she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us! We LOVED it!

Cute but Deceptive
Pros: Niccole was prompt with communication and kind. The house is adorable. A/C worked well. Beds were comfortable. Wifi and TV options were great. Updated bathrooms were beautiful. Plenty options for outdoor seating. Plenty of extra linen, TP, etc. Cons: The outdoor pictures were completely inaccurate. I understand that one cannot control the weather, but the owner made no mention that the pond water was receded 6 feet and the grass was all dead. It is also right off I-45, so it did not exactly fit the 'cabin in the woods' description either. The outdoor space was the primary reason we booked this property which was disappointing. Inside: the shower water did not get above lukewarm even thought the sink water did. Some of the doorknobs were broken. Other: they requested that we clean the place before we left even though I paid a substantial cleaning fee.

Peaceful Peaceful/ Much needed get away
We arrived to the cabin on a Friday… From checking in to us getting settling in was a breeze. The host was always available for any questions that we had. Our family had a blast at this property it was very relaxing. We cooked they had everything you needed in the kitchen to cook with. They had plenty of towels and throw blankets just in case you forgot you own. It was plenty of seating and more than enough sleeping room for our family. And to put the icing on the cake we stayed for the Labor Day weekend so it rained that Sunday evening and we where able to sit on the front porch and feel the cool breeze. But all in all it was a wonderful stay plenty of rest and relaxation and I will be booking again for my daughter’s bridal getaway weekend… Book you will not be disappointed Sharon🌸
