„We had a guys weekend away that included grilling out, playing games, and hanging out. There were a large group of us and the house fit our needs perfectly while giving us an atmosphere that we could relax in and enjoy the natural beauty of Rough River. Mitch was an excellent hose and super easy to work with. My whole group and I would highly recommend!“

„The house was perfect. The walk down to the lake was a good workout but worth it! Even with the water low, the kids played on the rocks and shore all day. We felt like we were staying in a tree house. Both the open deck and the screened in deck were wonderful additions. We sat out and played cards with a picturesque sunset. We would definitely stay again!“

„The house is a little tight, but being able to go out on the deck makes up for it. The view of the Lake is stunning. Neighborhood is quiet. There's a nice loop for a morning walk. Honestly don't see 10 people in this place, but a couple of couples it works. Not much to do in the area, but going to relax and enjoy the quiet and peace of the lake, it's a good place.“

„Pros: beautiful/private wooded area, very friendly locals, great winery within walking distance, lots of hiking trails to pick from, cabin has massive potential to be A stay Cons: front door has a hole in it, back door doesn’t lock, hot tub has broken jets and doesn’t really get hotter than bathtub, needs a a new cleaning crew. Coming into the cabin with beads, chips, dead bugs on floor was not ideal“

„It was very clean, well decorated and had all the comforts you could want. The host was excellent, very responsive. Our check in date was 3/31 which was Easter. We found 2 bunnies, a card and easter eggs... so amazingly thoughtful. There is also a generator which is great when your about 15 mins from civilization. Great hiking in the area and right behind the house.. There were dog dishes, a gate, which was great for our dog for the porch. Dog leashes, umbrellas, fire starters for the fire pit. ...

„We enjoyed our family time at chalet by the lake. The lake is close but not steps away. There is a lot of private property on the lakefront and no public access that we could find within walking distance. The beach and public access was a 15 minute drive away. The house was modern, updated and had all the amenities. We especially liked the loft with the arcade and table shuffleboard.“
