„18 of my family were able to come with us to Alaska for my son's wedding, which was at a church just a few miles away. Everyone had a bed! Master bedroom/bath was perfect for my dad who is 96yr. The combination of queen beds and twin beds was great for the family with little kids and also so the cousins could share a room. „Never checked in. Waited 45 minutes for someone to show up after “Bill” told us Elizabeth would be there in 15 minutes. Outside property was a mess and looked more like a junk yard than anything resembling accommodations. Filed complaint with VRBO and waiting to hear back about a full refund. Had to find another place to stay on very short notice. This listing should be pulled off your site. “

„This historic log cabin is within walking distance of the center of downtown Anchorage and is always a joy to come back to. Small and cozy - 2 or 3 people can be comfortable. Love this place!“

„Cabin was clean and cozy, very comfortable for two people. Close enough to Anchorage but still felt secluded. Saw a moose on a side road near cabin. We would stay here again if ever back in the area. “

„Second time staying at this property with a group of high school student cross country runners and coaches. The girls team and our female coach stayed in the smaller unit, and the boys and other coaches in the larger (because of different team sizes). Plenty of room to spread out, and have the kids do homework assignments, sleep comfortably, and relax after the races. Big screen TV, comfy furniture, post race hot tub, nice up to date kitchen, and easy parking. The host was super helpful and ...

„We came down for the weekend for a rafting trip. We were not expecting this amazing little community with very friendly staff a cafe with delicious food and drinks. The cabin was clean and cozy and we got to fall asleep to the sound of a bubbling stream. Perfection!“

„This beautiful home was perfect for our visit to Anchorage. It didn’t feel like we were in the city, it was in a very nice neighborhood. This property is exactly as stated, very clean, and most of all very comfortable.Our granddaughter was competing at the 3A State basketball level. After sitting in a gym all day, it was nice to come home.I would highly recommend this home to all my friends.“

OK, wenn man tiefe Ansprüche hat

"Es war ja nur für eine Nacht. Bereits das Einchecken dauerte sehr lange, obwohl sich gleich 3 Personen darum gekümmert haben. Dies aber entweder wenig motiviert oder wenig talentiert. Das Zimmer war soweit OK, das Bett sogar bequem. Leider ist der lichtundurchlässige Vorhang jedoch nicht gross genug für das ganze Fenster. Und die Sonne scheint in Alaska Ende Juni sehr lang! Bereits früh am Morgen lärmen die Züge unweit des Hotels, vielleicht wäre die Strassenseite ruhiger. Das Frühstück: eine Kanne Kaffee im Hoteleingang. "
