Wenn Sie in den privaten Eingang der Cedar Lodge einfahren, werden Sie vom Flüstern des plätschernden Baches, der durch das Anwesen fließt, inspiriert. Dieses Haus mit vier Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern und zwei separaten Wohnbereichen ist wunderschön im Landhausstil eingerichtet. Wenn Sie das Haus betreten, werden Sie von einem riesigen doppelseitigen dekorativen Kamin in wunderschönem Stein begrüßt. Die voll ausgestattete, moderne Küche mit Essbereich ist mit raumhohen Fenstern ausgestattet, durch die Sie einen Blick auf die Tierwelt der Region werfen können, während Sie Ihren Tag in der Cedar Lodge beginnen. Die geräumigen Wohnbereiche mit Holzböden sind der perfekte Ort, um sich ein Buch zu schnappen, Ihre Lieblingsfernsehshow anzusehen oder einfach mit der Familie zu entspannen. Die erste Etage bietet auch ein Schlafzimmer, ein Badezimmer, eine Waschküche und eine Steinbar. Die obere Ebene des Hauses ist mit schönen Hartholzböden mit drei Schlafzimmern und einem Vollbad akzentuiert. Das Interieur aus Naturstein und rustikalem Holz im ganzen Haus wird Ihren Geist und Körper beruhigen. Nice but needs a lot of repair
Beds had dead bugs under sheets. Back porch was dirty and chairs were falling apart. Charcoal grill bottom had a huge hole in it. Both toilets rocked when you used them. Outdoor space was flat and nice by a stream.

Memorial Day / 10 year anniversary getaway
We loved this beautiful lodge that had something for everyone. We were able to relax and play in the creek everyday and was surprisingly warm for this time of year. Our dogs loved their long walks in the big yard. Everyone found a comfortable bed and slept well. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Very Cute
It’s a very cute home that I would stay at again! I loved that they had all the supplies we needed for our stay there. You can easily access youtube, Disney+, Netflix, Hulu, etc on the TV. The bedroom downstairs gets very cold at night but has a space heater if you would need it. The upstairs bedrooms remained warm overnight. There are a few windows that do not lock at all which, as a group of all females/children, was a little concerning. It is also almost impossible to make phone calls in that area so be aware of that prior. Wish I could live there full time though! Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Girls Weekend
This cozy cabin was the perfect setting for our girls trip. There was plenty of space and beds for everyone and the hot tub was perfect! It was rather chilly when we stayed, and the space heater in the downstairs bedroom was not working-- we ended up needing a few extra layers for bed. Also the dining room table had a leg that was originally crooked and ended up buckling and breaking more severely during our stay. I'm sure those things will get fixed promptly thought as the host was easy to communicate with and provide an incredibly clean space.

Nice location, almost perfect
Pros: Location is convenient for hiking in Ohiopyle. The property/land is beautiful and great for animals/kids to run around. The house was very clean and warm but there were some issues. Hot tub was working properly and was awesome, as well as air hockey table. Cons: Lots of provisions that were almost perfect: Soap provided but no sponges, coffee grinds but no filters, charcoal but no lighters/fluid to start it. Had to get creative before doing a store run the next day. While wiping down the dinner table one of the legs came off and after inspection saw it'd been glued crudely so we knew it's been an issue. On 2nd night the electric fireplace stopped working but didn't see any popped circuit breakers. Downstairs sink and shower were slow draining and we pulled out a large bundle of hair to clear the sink. These issues I can handle but main issue that concerned me was the exhaust pipe for the water boiler had an adjustable airflow duct, so exhaust fumes could directly seep into the house. I wasn't too concerned until I checked the carbon monoxide sensors to realize the closest one and 3 others had dead+removed batteries. I gave a call to confirm with management, who was efficient and respectful, to have batteries delivered next day, however no one showed up. Also killed a live wasp inside and found dead ones in the corners. It was still an enjoyable trip but won't come back with family, think it's better suited for a college group trip with the amount of space there is.

Great house
The lodge was clean and had plenty of room for the 11 of us. There were plenty of towels and bed linens, a kitchen with all the untensils, pots, pans, dishes, etc. It had a large yard where we set up cornhole and badminton set. There were 2 firepits and a nice brook running through the property. The hot tub was a huge hit! There are no other houses in sight but it is on a road that does have a fair amount of traffic. It was not enough to ruin our trip though. The management was wonderful and very responsive. We would book this lodge again.

We hiked Ohiopyle State Park and grabbed coffee from some of the cutest shops!! We spent our days exploring and the nights in the hot tub or watching movies. You cant see neighbors and its so peacful with the running stream on the property. If we visit the are again we will definetly stay here again!! Great rental and location!

The only issue and reason I gave it 4 stars is because we were there in January and downstairs can get very cold even with the heat. Lots of window but fireplace was not a working fireplace. Great Christmas Stay. Santa Came!
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this property for Christmas with our children and grandchildren. There were 9 of us. The house was decorated beautifully for the holidays, with a shining tree in the front windows to greet us. There is a huge great room with rustic wood beams and plenty of seating for a family. Us grandparents loved the small sitting area next to the kitchen to get away from the noise, but still feeling like a part of the action. We were there during a very rare cold snap and storm that went through. We got some snow for Christmas, but it was bitter cold (like minus 11). This caused some pipe freezing. I must say, the management team dispatched maintenence in the middle of the night to make sure we had water. Our kudos to Adam for taking such good care of us - to note, this meant bringing us water at 4am in the morning no less. My husband could have not taken care of us better than Adam did. The kids - ages 7, 4 and 2 - enjoyed playing in the snow despite the cold - and my husband was able to walk down and check out the stream - which would be perfect for water play in the summer. Our 2 dogs, Shelties, also loved the large expanse of lawn and the freedom they so rarely get to run. For families bringing small children, the upstairs back bedroom with 3 queen beds made a perfect spot for sleeping. It was isolated enough that the adults didn't wake them when playing board games at the large dining room table - and boy did we laugh and make noise (if anyone played Pictionary before, they can guess how much we laughed). I can only imagine how wonderful it would be to stay here in the summer with the large deck, hot tub, and outdoor sitting areas and fire pit. This is a great place for families as the home is well loved and rustic - so no worries about breaking something or small spills.

Great place, needs maintenance
This rental was a mixed bag for us. One bedroom leaked, but the owner refunded a portion to compensate. There is a mouse (mice?) in the house and wasps in the shell of the hot tub. The kitchen was well set up with dishes and flatware, but only one pot. Lots of frying pans. That being said, the house set up is perfect for a group like ours with the large dining room and small reading area off the kitchen. Everything was clean when we arrived. The Yard is amazing with plenty of room for games and hammocks. The fire pit is very nice and well placed in the back of the yard. The creek was wonderful to listen to and to wade in. We even enjoyed the charcoal grill, Overall, we enjoyed our stay. There were some interesting things to do in the area. Some maintenance would make this a really great vacation home.

Snowy getaway long weekend
Cedar Lodge was clean and everything was as it was advertised to be. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed for the weekend. It would have been great to be able to use the fireplace but I understand why it would be a fire hazard. It was too snowy for a fire at the firepit but we did use the hot tub which was already warm when we got there. One suggestion I have to the rental team is some instructions on the hot tub functions. We just kind of had to wing it. Otherwise, thanks for a great place to stay. We would definitely come back.

Second time staying at this property. The only downfall is the fireplace inside is no longer allowed to be used which kinda sucks but it was great otherwise. Loved the hot tub n so did the kids. Will stay again :)

Nice place to just get away
Had a very wonderful time, house is warm and spacious and is a perfect place if you just want to get away from it all. Property management made it very easy to check in. Will definitely be returning.
