New 2-Bedroom Condo in the Heart of the Gorge!

STUNNING VIEWS!! This stylish new ground level condo is centrally located within minutes of all the New River Gorge National Park has to offer. Ziek's Place allows you to enjoy the peaceful tranquility of country living all while being within a 15 min drive to popular hiking trails, mountain biking, rafting, mountain climbing, horseback riding, etc. Also within 15 mins is the quaint little town of Fayetteville, which offers shopping, dining, and gear for all your outdoor adventures.

For you winter adventurer's we are located 45 minutes from Winter Place Ski Resort!!

This home features 2 separate units. The unit you will be staying in is the ground level unit. The unit has a private separate entry and separate outdoor area/firepit. Large, shared parking area (2 car maximum for each unit).

Guest will have access to the entire ground unit and separate outside living space/firepit.


Other things to note:

Self Lane is a gravel country road and country roads can be bumpy or rougher at times than paved roads. 4-wheel drive or AWD may be needed in the winter to access this unit.
This is a lower-level unit and guest may experience noise from other guest at times. 2 portable white noise machines are provided and can be used in any room in the unit.

Great house, location and view!
We loved this house so much. The view of mountains is cool. The trails like kaymoor and New R. NP is really close. Property was super clean and instructions were accurate. Finding this property at night for 1st time could be little challenging due to steep narrow gravel approach. I wish, the host provided few basic things like laundry pods, dish scrubber. Overall great, I highly recommend.

What a beautiful place this was to stay. This is a beautiful home, well stocked, nice kitchen, love all the updates. The beds are comfortable. Easy to get to the Gorge and other attractions. Lots of hiking.

This little apartment is perfect. Clean, updated, decorated perfectly, and with the added bonuses of nice washer/dryer and great fire pit area! Four of us stayed here (myself, husband, and two teens). Highly recommend this rental; would absolutely stay here again (and I am picky, esp about cleanliness).

Beautiful Color
We very much enjoyed our stay. We were tired when we arrived and we had some misgivings about finding the right house but when we did it was very nice. We are all in our 70's and 80's so using the tv proved difficult but we worked it out. Our friends had the shower with the rain shower head and they loved it. We were also pleasantly surprised that we hit this area of West Virginia at the fall peak for color. Thank you

Lovely home in an expansive, country setting. Clean and well- provisioned as well as homey and comfortable. Our grandson fell in love with it. My only caution is that I wish I had a better idea what to expect from the driveway. There is a last short incline that was a challenge for our Toyota Camry. We made it, though, and enjoyed our stay.

We could not have selected a better place to stay! Our group consisted of friends- two couples. This clean, lovely home of two bedrooms and two bathrooms was ideally located. It was a few minutes away from trails, the bridge and restaurants. We loved sitting on the patio after exploring the park enjoying the quiet neighborhood and watching deer in the evening. I highly recommend it!

We stayed at this property in Fayetteville for a race weekend for the whole family at Summit Bechtel reserve and it was perfect for our family getaway. The property is tucked away up a small and quiet dirt road with lots of green space, trees and a fire pit, and we enjoyed all. My boys had the best time running around and exploring the grounds outside and gathering up sticks for our smores at night. There was a very nice front deck area for all of us to sit together and enjoy the outdoors. The inside is very cozy, clean and updated. The furniture is very comfortable and updated, we slept very well and were able to cook meals in the stocked kitchen. The industrial style shower was a highlight. The hosts were very communicative when some bad weather rolled in and accommodating. We would stay here again and recommend others to stay here and check this peaceful property out!

Perfect!
This place is simply perfect! The accommodations (specifically the kitchen) are very functional and comfortable for a long term stay. It has higher end decor and finishings. The overhead shower is super cool. Outside, the view is spectacular with plenty of seating. We sipped our coffee and enjoyed the cool WV mornings and stunning view. The place itself is set back off of the road so it feels very remote but it’s actually very close to local conveniences and activities. Our stay could not have been any better. Decent Stay
This is a very nice place, clean, decent beds, spacious. Working with the host was simple and easy. We would have given it 5 stars had it not been shared with the neighbors above. Yes, the listing states there is a person above, however we under estimated the amount of noise that would pass through the floors. The person was not overly noise, the noise just carried very well. We were woken up several times each night by loud bang/thuds from above. If you are a light sleeper, do not plan on a good night of rest.
