„Das Haus liegt ruhig und etwas abseits der anderen Häuser im kleinen, beschaulichen Ort Thorpe bei Ashbourne. Um das Haus herum Wiesen und Berge, sehr gute Wandergelegenheiten in alle Richtungen. Das Haus war erstklassig ausgestattet und wunderschön. Der Pool und die Schwimmhalle waren durchweg beheizt und wahnsinnig toll! Ray war unglaublich hilfsbereit und nett! Wir würden definitiv wieder hier her kommen.“

„The Property is situated perfectly in the peaks with amazing panoramic views. You are surrounded by peaks, big skies & wildlife as well as the permanent residence on the Farm, horses, sheep (shout out to Jack the Ram, friendliest sheep I have met) & chickens. Inside the cottage is cosy, well equipped & clean. Beds are comfy, 2 bathrooms always a bonus & it's quiet. We are already planning our next trip.“

„We spent a fantastic vacation at this lovely cottage. Even before we started our journey from Germany, communication was very kind and helpful. On arrival the welcome was very warm and nice. We found everything we needed in the cottage and the sight in front of it was great and peaceful. Our son (and we) loved the horses, sheeps and other animals around the farm. Went there first on a rushed business trip and went back half a year later to enjoy it finally with my partner. "Das Hotel hat dringend eine Renovation nötig. Das Zimmer war noch am besten in Schuss. Der Poolbereich war nicht so sauber bzw. Sehr in die Jahre gekommen (die Decke blätterte ab). Auch das Restaurant war renovationsbedürftig. Die Teller und das Besteck beim Morgenessen war nie ganz sauber. Zum übernachten ganz ok, aber definitiv nicht top. "

"In meinem Zimmer war ein neues Bad, aber der Rest des Hotel war doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Was an sich nicht schlimm ist, wenn es dann sauber und gepflegt ist. In meinem Flur roch es sehr unangenehm. Das Frühstück war ok aber nicht jetzt keine tolle Qualität oder besonders lecker. Eine Kollegin hatte ein altes Bad und Schimmel in diesem. Auf die freundliche Frage, ob sie ein anderes bekommen könnte wurde recht unfreundlich geantwortet, dass es nicht möglich ist. Sehr schade, da das Haus an sich wirklich schön ist. "
