The lodge had INCREDIBLE amenities, fully and I mean fully stocked kitchen and cooking and utensils and appliances for preparing our full meals and eating as a large group for all our meals together! „We drove in from St. Louis. Less than 5 minutes to KCOM and Truman state. The recommendations in the guest booklet were great- but we would like to add that we ate at La Pa and loved it! Bethany and her husband were very responsive to my questions and requests. The bunk bed had a railing and felt safe. My 4 year old slept in the bottom and it was great. You do hear some noise from the neighbors but it wasn’t keeping us from going to sleep! “

Communication with the property owners was top-notch we had unusual cold weather and they went out of their way to make sure there was extra warmth for the cottage ,highly recommend this place to others and I will be using this in the future when visit,ing my family there.“

„The house over all is good. We had a few draining issues in the bathroom and kitchen that the host seemed attentive to and hopefully fixes. The kitchenware is less than to be desired so if you plan to prep and cook much I would consider bringing your own. “

„Great place to stay. Small town. Everything you could ask for.“

„You could not ask for more beautiful place on the lake with walking paths and privacy. The accommodations for enjoying the outdoor space was great. The cabin was well stocked and comfortable. We enjoyed kayaking and fishing. We caught several small fish but we eventually found some large Crappies bass, and catfish. It was one week of total relaxation and heaven.“
