„Had a whole holiday cottage to myself for the price of a hotel room. Really generous and varied breakfast provisions, with spacious kitchen and dining area to enjoy it in. With a washing machine and airer in the property, I was able to get a load of washing done overnight, as the cottage was really warm. The only negative was the WiFi, which I found very poor, and phone signal is limited too.“

„Das Haus liegt ruhig und etwas abseits der anderen Häuser im kleinen, beschaulichen Ort Thorpe bei Ashbourne. Um das Haus herum Wiesen und Berge, sehr gute Wandergelegenheiten in alle Richtungen. Das Haus war erstklassig ausgestattet und wunderschön. Der Pool und die Schwimmhalle waren durchweg beheizt und wahnsinnig toll! Ray war unglaublich hilfsbereit und nett! Wir würden definitiv wieder hier her kommen.“

„Absolutely loved our stay here! Modern, clean and so cosy!! The bed is the comfiest bed i have ever slept in away from home...so much so we kept doing starfishes in excitement 🤣 Good sleep is so important after a solid day of hiking so very much appreciated. Shower again was amazing after a day out hiking in the rain ❤️ Brilliant location for all the places we visited.Will definitely be returning.“

Der Außenbereich ist fantastisch und hat den typisch britischen Cottage-Flair. Wir haben uns bei der Anreise leider etwas verirrt weshalb wir deutlich später als besprochen eintrafen. Der Vermieter war sehr verständnisvoll und hilfsbereit. Eine absolut empfehlenswerte Location.“

„Het verblijf was prima. Er was alleen aangegeven via FEWO dat alles begane grond was, dit bleek niet het geval. Voor mensen met een beperking dus erg lastig. Parkeerplaats aanwezig maar zeer lastig in en uitrijden. Het café de Red Lion is een aanrader. Goed eten en een lekker biertje/wijntje tegen redelijke prijzen.“

„Very central to the village of Ashford in the water. Local bus but not sure how often it is. Two Local pubs serving great food. Very clean and comfy beds. No problem parking in the street outside property. Overall a comfortable stay. VERY QUIET“
