„We enjoyed our stay at the Old Mill. We rented the street-level apartment which was perfect for the four of us. The kids enjoye d the toys and we all had fun playing some board games. The place was very clean. There were some Asian beetles present but this was not unique to just this property. We saw them everywhere we went around Shell Rock, Waverly, Cedar Falls, etc. Just that time of the year. We would definitely stay again. saw them everyhey were “

„Being at the dairy farm was such a great experience for all of us but especially our granddaughters! It was so much fun for them to see the workings up close and hear from Lynn about the cows, the birthing process, the robotic milking and on and on. She was so well prepared to answer the HUGE number of questions from our girls! Great fun to watch it all from the windows above while enjoying a nice breakfast, playing games, etc. The two tours set us up well to enjoy and understand it all!“

„Beautiful property. Had hoped the porch redo would be completed before our stay, but it's close and will be a comfortable spot on our next visit. All guests came to the breakfast table first morning talking about how well they slept both beds and pillows very comfortable. Having a table that fit all right of us was a dream. Very well stocked. Two crockpots, coffee maker AND Keurig. “

„Overall the Apartment Complex is very clean and our experience with the host was great. We had not problem managing the steps but could be a concern for some and the noise levels from the bar below on a Friday and Saturday night are an issue until the bar closes for the evening (mainly loud music). We did not spend any time here but to sleep at night and arrived after 10 pm each evening so the bar was hopping.“

„Wonderfull clean and renovated 19th century bungalow. Super clean, great master bedroom and bath with comfy mattress. Petfect location, close to downtown Cedar Falls. Single downside was the tiny loft with tiny beds low ceiling. Good for kids only.“

„Everything surpassed my expectations. The rooms are nice and clean. The kitchen had everything we wanted and more. The sun room overlooking the river was warm and beautiful and so relaxing to hang out in on some very cold days in late November. The host is ver responsive and pleasant to interact with.“

„Gathered the family for Uma’s 70th birthday celebration. Great house, lots of space, fantastic amenities, beautiful pool, well stocked kitchen. Kayaked the river. The sunrise was only exceeded by the sunset views. We all definitely want to return in summer. “

„We stayed at this home for a family gathering and it was perfect. The parent adults could be upstairs visiting and the college age adults could be in the basement. We had 12 people over 18 yrs old in the house and we had plenty of room to spread out.“

„We have stayed at a lot of VRBO homes and this is the nicest of any we have stayed at. The owner has thought of everything. Plenty of towels, plenty of all supplies, and even a container of personal items you might have forgotten. This property is beautifully decorated and roomy enough to enjoy togetherness or alone time. „We stayed here because I was working in Cedar Falls and in Ames and this was a good halfway point. It is so peaceful by the river and the host was very accommodating. My husband lives with a physical disability and doesn't handle stairs well; this place has no stairs and was very accessible and worked well for him. Our dog loved it too, plenty of green space. A lovely spot in a small town, one of our favorite stops. Thank You!“
