„The hosts were fabulous and blew is away with their welcome pack but is not suitable to sleep 4. Everything is just in one room and there's only seating for 2 unless you want to sit on a bar stool. The layout also needs rethinking because at one point my wife was in bed having a cup of tea and waved to the hosts as they pulled up in their car. If they switched the sofa and bed you'd get more privacy and be able to watch the tv from the sofa. Otherwise, it was great. Would recommend for a couple.“

„Pleasant accommodation close to university, with cooking facilities Accommodation was clean , warm and had everything we needed for our stay. Only issue is no on site parking but parking in nearby streets is possible (payable and maximum 5 hours) with a larger NCP car park within 5 minutes walk Would stay there again and would recommend for a short stay. “

„Communication excellent. Instead of a 130cm wide bed upstais with balcony aganst which I complained we got a larger apartment with 200x200 cm wide beds. Apartment comfortable, staff did everything to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. A little far away from railway station, buses in the morning run seldom. You only get bathing towels, no additional towels for hand and face. Howver, the managers solved the problem. Huge glass tables in the living room, but nothing to protect the table. The ...

„Wir haben im 2.Stock ohne Lift gewohnt. Das Gebäude hat Charakter und die Zimmer sind schön groß. Allerdings war das Appartement schon etwas schmuddelig (Teppich), aber gerade noch ok.“

„Sehr gemütliches Haus. Großartiger Garten mit wahnsinnig tollem Ausblick. Prima Gastgeber und sehr nette Nachbarn. Leider funktionierten Backofen und Mikrowelle nicht. Küchenausstattung wie Pfannen und Geschirr sind etwas hinüber. Ansonsten war alles da was man braucht. Liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir würden wieder buchen.“

„It was lovely and out of the way. Very nice room and Ensuite. Only down points were very hard bed and pillows and the shower mechanism was slightly broken so difficulty in regulating temperature, but water pressure was great. Overall, we would be happy to return. “

„My 18 yr old son, 7 yr old dog & I went for 2 nights to celebrate my 60th birthday. The barn is very comfortable & cosy. Instructions to get there was spot on. It was very clean except for a couple of cobwebs with spiders in the corner of the main bedroom & lounge but this didn't bother me. Throws & towels provided for dogs, loved sitting outside with a cuppa in the mornings watching the sun come up. This accommodation was ideal for going out walking in the day & chilling in the evenings. “

„Unter Bäumen, direkt am Taff Trail liegt das "The Old Art & Coffee House". Eine liebevoll eingerichtete Unterkunft, die auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt sehr gut ausgestattet ist. Nur wenige Kilometer entfernt können Castles besucht werden. Cardiff kann bequem mit dem Zug erreicht werden. Im Theater sahen wir die "The Chicago Blues Brothers" und "Thank you for the music". Da wir es geschafft haben, aus dem Escap e Room herauszufinden, konnten wir am Strand von Barry Island die Sonne genießen. ...

„Beautiful house in the countryside, host was accommodating and forth coming allowing us to check in early and check out later, also rectifying any minor issues asap. He made sure we had everything we required (such as setting up a celebration table and equipping the kitchen for our private chef). Lovely warm swimming pool, sadly for us the jacuzzi was not working at this time. Perfect setting for a large celebration, could be made even more special with some additions such as mirrors, hair ...

„We loved staying at this beautiful cottage in such a beautiful location. It was so cozy and the surrounding area was everything we dreamed it would be. Janet and Mike were so welcoming and helpful. We felt like we were visiting family! The surrounding gardens and all the flowers are bountiful and obviously lovingly cared for. And we loved all the nature: bunnies, chickens, and sheep. A total paradise.“

"Waren in einem Familienzimmer zu dritt untergebracht. Das Hotel liegt auf einer Autobahnraststätte. Verkehrsgünstig also in alle Richtungen. Wir hatten vier Nächte hier. Das Frühstück war british and very ok. Das Hotel selbst ist etwas abgenutzt und hat auch nur zwei Sterne. Wer nur zum Schlafen hier ist und Tagesausflüge nach Bristol, Cardiff oder Stonehenge macht, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Zu viel Komfort sollte man nicht erwarten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. "

Keinesfalls 4* Hotel - maximal 2* Hotel

"Hotel Zimmer ist unter Erde gelegen. Die Teppich riecht nach uralte Keller. Der Raum ist mit einem E-Radiator geheizt, der auf einer Ecke gestanden ist!! So etwas habe ich nicht mal in 2* gesehen. Für das Gym Nutzen muss man extra zur Rezeption zu gehen um auf ein Buch manuell zu eintragen, weil das Zutritt System nicht funktioniert hat. All dies hätte ich keine Probleme gehabt wenn das Hotel ein 2* Hotel wäre. Ich hatte in Vergangenheit über 500 Übernachtungen (3-5 Sterne Hotels) weltweit gebucht und hatte nie so einen schlechten Zimmer gehabt, nicht mal im 3* Hotel! "
