„My son (14) and I (49) ised the cabin as a jump off spot to snowboard Cannon and Waterville Valley. It was a bit of a drive to each but worth it to hang out in the woods. I think I saw one car go by the whole time. But, amenities are not too far away. We cooked all our meals, and the knives need sharpening. “

„Place was great! Eric was an awesome host. Super clean and simple. Easy trail access for snowmobiling. Conditions were awesome. “

„Great property, loved how the hot tub was ready to go, hot and clean, plenty of privacy. Picked this house because it was close to the Franconia hike i planned to do. If i had to nit pick.. ceiling fan blades were dusty in the bedroom and the mattress wasnt too comfortable. Kitchen supplies were bare bones had sugar and maple syrup but no cooking oil, the one item i forgot! had to drive to price chopper and pick up butter that looked like a bunny so all good! “

„The property was exactly as pictured, very clean and well stocked upon arrival. The location was perfect...easy to downtown Stowe (restaurants, shops and rec path) as well as to the mountain. The host was fantastic! He was very responsive and ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We would absolutely stay again!“

„We stayed 6 days, my wife, daughter and friend, and our two dogs. Roomy and clean, very beautiful cottage. Fully appointed kitchen with all the supplies one needs. We built a fire in the big handsome fireplace, also with all the tools needed. We appreciated the choice of two dining areas, we pretty much stuck to the breakfast nook. Every morning we dropped the girls at Jay Peak, then myself, wife and dogs, hiked, relaxed, napped and enjoyed the quiet. Would love to do it again!“

„Rented the place in mid-oct for a second-marriage honeymoon. The place was easy to find and was set up perfectly for a two person cozy stay. House faces the sunset and has a deck and sitting porch. Brought my little boat and the boating access is across the street. We had zero issues. We would definitely come back!! Definitely worth it. 👌 “

„Not much effort put into cleanliness. Not dirty, but certainly not ’clean’. THICK dust bunnies under upstairs queen bed. Window coverings in downstairs bedroom were hammered, minimizing privacy. Bathrooms/doorways smaller than standard. Not a single drawer in either bathroom. Front loading washing machine was poorly maintained - rubber seal coated with slimy funk. TWENTY FIVE stairs from parking level to house…tough for someone with ambulatory issues. Communication was weak. But…New blender was ...

„This is a cute small space - great for one person or a couple. The owner was very responsive to a particular issue and that is extremely helpful in a winter situation.It is close to ski mountains and hiking trails for those in the summer months. Off the beaten track and quiet.“

„Beautiful setting. Comfortable beds and good space. The Tv is mounted too high for comfortable viewing, but other than that it was a comfortable home.“

„The place was great for our two families of four. We were relieved that the Toll House lift opened the day we arrived thanks to some snow. Being able to ski in and out was awesome. “

„Perfect a weekend ski get away with 3 kids…beautiful views on the lake. A bit remote..but a nice 40 minute ride to Jay Peak. “

"Excellent situated with a scenic view over the Mountains and the trees with the beautiful foliage. Hotel Lobby and bar area is nice and cosy, hallways and rooms would need some maintenance though. Breakfast buffet is to expensive for the Selektion offered. Can recommend this resort. "

"Das Stowe Inn ist eine gute Adresse in Vermont, die Möglichkeiten rundherum im Spätsommer sehr gut - auch wenn sich hier alles eigentlich um den Wintersport dreht. Schade, dass das Restaurant nur von Donnerstag bis Samstag geöffnet ist, da es ein gutes Restaurant ist. "

Schlechtes Zimmer erwischt?

"Vorneweg, unser Zimmer war sauber. Der Empfang professionell und freundlich. Der öffentliche Bereich ist schön und wir haben abends dort gesessen (im Zimmer war es zu ungemütlich). Der Pool ist schön und es gab sogar einen HotTube. Das Frühstück ist selbst gemacht und wechselte täglich. Anlass zur Unzufriedenheit gab allein das Zimmer. Hellhörig ist noch schmeichelhaft. Im Bad blättert die Farbe von der Decke. Das Bett ist sehr unbequem. Blick aus dem Fenster ist furchtbar,wir haben die gesamte Zeit das Rollo unten gelassen. Insgesamt hat das Zimmer den Aufenthalt vermiest. "
