„This was our second time staying at Marshmellow and just as fun as the first. The property is as described, great location near Whitman Hollow but still quiet off the main boat channel into the marina. Water off the dock is great for swimming and hanging out all day! Boat slip is well protected and in good shape for bringing your own boat. Such a fun experience to bring kids onto a floating house!“

„We visited this place with a large company and spent this time with a lot of emotions. Everyone had equal conditions for rest and everyone was satisfied! The only thing that upsets is the lack of a pier near the water. There was no opportunity to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of nature by dipping our feet in the water. „Our overall stay at the Norris State House was an exquisite visit. Location-wise, it was a bit of a struggle. The only way to get through was a sharp turn, and Google Maps didn't recognize it until you actually got on the road, so you need to make sure you look out for that. „Our stay was great the only down fall we had was the heater was not working when we got there and the hot tub had issue the property manager did come out to work on the heater for us but it just took a while to get warmed up in 30s weather and someone was suppose to come look at the hot tub but we never got information back on it they did have some caution tape on one deck for some reason but like I said the property manager did his job like it was above his head on the other stuff. „We stayed here with a group of 20 for Thanksgiving and didn’t feel cramped. Although one bathroom had a sewage smell (which was fixed), the golf cart ran out of gas and we had to push it back to the house, and there was no lake access, only a lake view, we had a good time. There’s a bathroom in each bedroom. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. The wifi worked perfectly on all 3 floors. „Overall my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property managers were responsive and had the home set up with a fully stocked kitchen, towels, linens, and a full supply of wood for the wonderful covered fire pit. The property is conveniently located just a short drive from Knoxville and the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. The sheets/linens that were on the beds were in need of additional cleaning. They had stains, pet hair and long hair on them. Again, the stay was wonderful overall.“

„The location of the property was great as it was just a short walk to the marina. The porch was a wonderful retreat, too. We however, felt the property needed a good sweeping and mop job. After our 7 month old baby dropped something on the floor and it rolled under the couch, we found trash, cups, wrappers, and dust bunnies galore.
