„A wonderful cottage and a very nice interior. Ric as a host was absolutely easygoing und caring. Any request he answered within shortest time, which made us feel welcome and looked after very well. The cottage is very spacious and it was a terrific idea to change one of the former bedrooms into a huge bathroom. Heating and fireplace was working perfectly. We had ten wonderful days in Whitstable, where we come to for new year for nearly twenty years now ...“

„We had a great time in Canterbury. Lovely town and lot´s to explore. Appartment was right in the middle of town 10 minutes walk into the center. Bright and clean and equiped with all necessities. Dom was always available when you had a question or needed information. All in all we had a great time.“

„Wir (Mein Mann, ich und unsere drei Töchter, davon ein Teenager und zwei erwachsen) waren über Silvester in diesem schönen Cottage. Die Lage war perfekt, ruhig, aber die Innenstadt ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar, ein Waitrose und ein Tesco Express ebenfalls. Dazu organisiert der Vermieter im Vorhinein einen überwachten Parkplatz, der nur 200 m entfernt ist, so dass man sich darum nicht kümmern muss. Bei der Ausstattung hat nichts gefehlt, alles war wie beschrieben bzw. noch besser ...

„I really liked the bedrooms and the size of the property for 9 of us was perfect... The location and driveway were so convenient, litterally across the road from all the amenities. The property isn't perfect.... The bathroom and downstairs showeroom are very poorly finished and as a consequence have exposed wall, sub flooring and chipboard. There is also a substantial problem with mold in the showroom as there is no extractor (though weirdly a hole has been cut in the tiles to accommodate ...

„It was very comfortable, Whitstable is so silly and cozy. I fell in love with the cute shops and the evenings at the beach. To sum up I’d say the house and Whitstable was very lovely as well.“

„Family visiting us in Maidstone so decided to have a couple of days at the coast. Apartment was as described though we hadn’t realised there would be a steep flight of stairs and finding parking space could be a bit of a problem. Overall we enjoyed a pleasant few days. “

„Sarah and her son were fantastic hosts. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Lovely cottage in a great setting too. Good size and dog/family friendly. Comfy bed & sofa & the equipped kitchen was handy. Would certainly stay again!“

„We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Penthouse ,the location was great ,a short walk to all the attractions ,restaurants/pubs ,shopping and transport . The flat was well appointed ,we liked the little extra's that were provided .it was comfortable and homely . a nice place to relax in . The communication was great ,and the local information provided was very helpful . We would definitely stay here. again “

„Lovely clean property in a quiet location but within walking distance of everything we needed.Spacious living space - we were in the area to spend Christmas with family but were able to easily host them on one evening.Good sized garden, fully enclosed so safe for the dog.Would definitely like to stay again - think it would be great in the summer.“

"Das Himmer (3-Bett) hatte eine schöne Größe und war ruhig gelegen. Von der Straße hörte man kaum was. Das Personal war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war auch echt gut :) Morgens wie Abends. Das Stadtzentrum liegt 20 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt."

"Sehr gemuetliche und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer am Rande von Canterbury. Das Familienzimmer ist sehr geraeumig und verfuegt uber Kaffee/Thee. Die Innenstadt ist zu Fuss erreichbar und die Parkplaetze bei der Unterkunfst sind angenehm. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Fruehstuek ok. "

Great location for visit of old town

"This hotel is located superbly close to the inner city of Canterbury. You are literally a one minute walk away from the pedestrian zone. It is a little bit hard to find, but the staff is nice. The only problem is that there are no (free) parking spaces around. We were contacted a few days via e-mail before our stay by the hotel, which can provide you with a discount for one of the pay-parking lots."

"The hotel has it's own charme, directly located at the Cathedral, nicely polished up (since our last visit in 2007), offers very friendly service. The slightly complicated distribution of rooms is owed to the old historic building. No direct car parking in the vicinity, but unloading an loading possible. We sure will come back "
