Rooms spacious, furnishing basic We booked for a party of 8, however there were only 6 dining chairs, 6 metal knives and only 5 mugs, of which one had a broken handle. So, provision of equipment was not adequate for the party size booked. There was no check-in information provided. „14 of us enjoyed a family weekend in The Old Cart Barn and The Granary set in the most beautiful countryside. On arrival Laura, the owner, met us and was very helpful. Our enclosed garden was ideal for our 2 dogs. The kitchens in both buildings were very well equipped with everything we needed and there was plenty of seating for all of us in The Old Cart Barn both inside and out. We all had dinner on Saturday night at The Fox and Hounds in nearby Riseley which was delicious. We highly recommend ...

„Excellent short break to accommodate all of my brothers/sisters/partners. Piper House is amazing! We all enjoyed the outdoor activities: Tennis, Table tennis and Badminton. Superb location, only wished we could have stayed a little longer. Would definitely go back. Thank you. “

„Wonderful thoughtful hosts. More than average amenities. They thought of all the little things to make our stay comfortable. Very cute little cottage and great location for our purposes. Definitely need a car though. Really good food at the pub and convenient to have a little store right next door. “

„The room I had was roomy and clean, bathroom/shower again clean and spacious. Equipment and white goods suited my needs. Entrance to the room a little dark as outside lights didn't react early enough. Overall I would book again if in that area.“

„Very large property, lots of space in kitchen/diner and two living rooms, plus utility room. Family party of seven seniors, felt very at home here. Kitchen had just about everything, you just had to find where things were. Four bedrooms, three doubles and one twin bedded. Onsuite bathroom with the master bedroom. Fairly large secluded garden, with several outdoor seating areas. Quiet area, easy parking for 3 – 4 vehicles. Very quick responses from excellent, obliging host. Only improvement ...

The location is ideal for getting to multiple places of interest. It’s easy to get to various towns such as Peterborough, Ely, Cambridge, Norwich, to name but a few.
