„Although, it was a little confusing to get to, if one follows the instructions implicitly, it's not difficult. We had 16 of us, ages 3 to 90 and 3 dogs in our group. The place was marvelous. Well stocked with essentials, towels, washcloths, plates, coffee pots, etc. The trains were especially intriguing to the little ones, who stopped what they were doing to watch them. „My family and I decided to book the black barn for Christmas and my sister’s 50th birthday week. The location, cleanliness, indoor pool area, and views were exactly what we were looking for. The owners were very attentive and replied quickly. We will definitely stay at this property again next time we’re in Dubuque to visit my sister. One more perk for skier’s is that Sundown mountain is less than 5 minutes away. Everything was perfect. Thanks again!!“

„We wanted a quick, 3 night getaway that was very low key. This cabin was perfect for us! We enjoyed nearby hiking during the day and reading by the fireplace in the evening. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything needed for cooking. Would happily stay here again. It is as pictured.“

„What an adorable lakeside home, and with all the comforts of home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, location was perfect, loved all the wildlife right outside our door, even bald eagles and a pelican, in addition to the geese. So awesome to be able to use the canoe on a peaceful warm afternoon. Couldn't be happier we chose this home. "We chose this hotel because the whirlpool room. The price was decent and the room was in decent condition. The room itself was very large. The living room has a small kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, sink etc. the bed is comfortable… the whirlpool in the room was ideal. While not the newest hotel, nothing was stained or broken etc. 4 of 5"
