„Ray was very friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and warm. Didn’t realise it was separate from the bathroom although that was in the description. No sign of a hot tub? Would be better in the summer to enjoy the deck.“

„Great location. Loved seeing the sun rise from the deck. Dogs secure when outside. For older persons, please warn about an outside loo. Lovely and cosy, I would love to come back although my husband is not so sure. So many 'paper roads' in the area - maps and GPS!!!! Explored the area towards Gabriel's Gully and back by a different route and found roads no longer exist - except tracks through farms....Wish I knew about fishing....Thank you.“

„The apartment was lovely and well appointed, the beds comfortable and everything was very clean. Our main complaint was there was no communication beforehand with the instructions on how to access the building and the apartment. We arrived on a Saturday, the contact phone number was only for office hours and the out of hours number on the message was incorrect, missing a digit. We found another out of hours number to call and could only leave a message. Finally someone called but not before ...

„Property had a bizarre bathroom set up. The toilet was in a separate room with no sink to wash one's hands after nature had called. We had to walk over to the opposite side of the apartment to a different room that had a shower and sink in it. This was very inconvenient and obviously not very sanitary. Apartment was cold and took quite a while to heat up. Luckily we are used to heat pumps so we understood this. Parking is only good for a smaller car. Our rental fit in without issue (Ford Puma) ...

„The only reason I am marking this down is because there was a grand total of the kitchen. There were no sponges, tea towels or dishwashing supplies. There wasn't a full set of cooking equipment so it was difficult to cook for a group. The plates, glassware, mugs and cutlery etc. were cheap and unmatched. „Really enjoyed the location. Was able to take long walks on the beach while still being close to Dunedin for access to its restaurants. House was large enough for multiple adults and had both washer and dryer which was convenient as this was a stop in a longer trip. We really appreciated the electronic keypad entry since we had people coming and going on different schedules. Would definitely stay hear again if I was ever in the area.“
