„I stayed at this property for 2 days due to work and I was highly satisfied. The house was very welcoming, smelled amazing, and was decorating nice.The host was exceptional and made sure all of my needs were met. The fact that the essentials were provided plus some made my stay even better. I didnt have to worry about packing everything under the sun because it was already there. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit Mattoon. “

„We had an excellent stay. The home was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The location was perfect—close to everything we needed. Getting in and out of the house with the smart-lock was easy and convenient. The owner was very responsive to my messages and accommodating. My toddler loved the big TV in the living room and the kids table. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would recommend this place to others.“

„Very nice house, clean and had everthing we needed. It was one bed short of advertised so my neice slept on the sofa rather than the upper bunk. Biggest concern: the front step is quite high with no hand rail. My 74 year old sister fell backwards off of it with hand full of luggage. Fell all the way backwards and hit her head. Also she was just a few weeks out of knee replacement surgery. Could have turned out very much worse than a bump on the head. Also I feel like the restroom in the large ...

„I came with two friends to shop and experience Amish Country. The house was perfect. We ate breakfast there both mornings and had aupper there in evenings. Walked to main street both days and loved all the shops. Drove out in the country, ate at Yoder’s, shopped at the Bulk market, took a buggy ride. We are coming back soon.“

„The space is more roomier than we thought! Very clean. A little confusion in getting into the property but Mark was very prompt in responding and helping us.“

„We arrived a little after 4 pm after spending a number of hours sightseeing in town. The home is cozy, but the online pictures make it look bigger than it is, someone is really great with camera angles. Since we didn't have meals here we didn't look in the cabinets to see how many of everything there was? „Nice place. Good value for the money. The upstairs/downstairs is nice to have two levels. Didn’t see the lake. Very quiet neighborhood. Probably needs handrails for outside entrance and down to lower level in the house. Kitchen has about everything you would need. Would stay there again. “

„Enjoyed a girls weekend at the house- great setup with enough beds, and beautiful lake scenery. Living room is lovely for relaxing. We could have used a bit more in the kitchen (large utensils, baking sheet, pans)… but minor detail that didn’t change a great stay! Recommend! “
