„Cabin was perfect for us. Very private. Beautiful property! Listening to the wind blow through the trees was just what we needed; so relaxing and serene. Heard elk calling at night! There were deer every morning and evening in the front and back yard! Everything was perfect. “

„A large group of my family with multiple children stayed here for my son’s birthday trip to the Dunes. There was plenty of room for everyone. The surrounding property is lovely to go for a walk and explore. Lots of games and activities to keep the kids happy-they even helped feed the cows which they loved! A fairly close drive to the dunes (under 30 minutes). The host lives on the property next door and was incredibly helpful and responsive. “

„This was a quaint little cabin. It is pretty small but had all the amenities, even some bear spray. There are 4 beds for 8 people and one bathroom. Not much of a front or back porch. The master bed was memory foam and felt like a soap dish. Some of the windows do not have coverings. It is at least a 25 minute drive to the highway. Then an hour in either direction for a town. So it is isolated. Overall it was an ok stay.“

„It was a great adventure for our family. But overpriced. We payed 400 Dollars /night, for this kind of money they should pay more attention to the details, like doing nice walkways and benches, putting out solar lanterns etc.. Also missed the usual litte sanitary bottles, tissues etc.. Mattress where thin and basic, toppers and duvets would have been nice.. (it gets very cold at night) the lobby was a mess. But staff very friendly. Many rats out at night, I was a bit worried they would come in ...

„Clean, comfy, plenty of cooking supplies, great location“

„We enjoyed our stay in the RV, the host was attentive and it came equipped with everything we needed. My only complaint would be the location of the bed in the bedroom, it’s a full and up against the wall, I get claustrophobic so sleeping on that side of the bed was difficult for me since my partner gets up at night. Other than that we had a good time!“

„My family and I try to vacation here every year. We love the location. We love the view, peace and quiet. They have everything you can possibly need for your stay! We highly recommend the TC Lodge.“

„Lovely, lovely stay. It all started with some very thorough, easy to follow directions from Patrick; we had no issues finding the site. The yurt itself is very cozy, made cozier by the simulated fireplace heater and the exceptional space heater. One downside was the middle zipper of the outer flap was not functional, but the zippers at the bottom of the dual tent flap worked just fine and some velcro (while maybe needing reinforcement) allowed for the flaps to stay closed even with high gusts of ...

„This is the second time we have stayed here and once again, it was great. This property very well appointed and well maintained. It is a short walk to Main St. La Veta, which is very nice. Sitting on the deck in the afternoon, with the sun and the Cuchara River is very relaxing. It is a great choice!“

"Von Umweltfreundlichkeit und Müllvermeidung ist beim Frühstücken in den USA grundsätzlich wenig zu spüren. Dieses Hotel ist aber (auch im Vergleich mit anderen Holiday Inn‘s) der Hammer: Jede Toastscheibe ist extra eingepackt!!! Wahnsinn!"
