„I was in town to visit my mom at the hospital. It was a great location, both close to the hospital and with lots of amenities nearby. The property itself was spotlessly clean and also very quiet, which I appreciated. The kitchen had all of the equipment that I needed. The mattress was a little hard but comfortable enough. „This property was so nice, that I did not want to leave. It was cozy, well stocked, well maintained, and comfortable. Not far off the beaten path yet still secluded. I loved hearing the flowing river in the mornings and evenings. Our host, the Rowlands was easily accessible and responsive within minutes. Just an incredible slice of paradise. We will be back!“

„The property does have a slight slant on the first floor which can be fun after a few adult beverages. The house was clean and provided all the things i needed. The host communicated the door number the morning off as promised. The only complaint i would have is the pool table is too big for that room and the dart board is missing the darts. I would rent this house again next time I'm in Roanoke. “

„Cool cabin, peaceful and quiet. Very basic items were provided. Bring your own kitchen and bath items, like baking dish, spices, cooking oil, condiments, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, etc. Washer and dryer in the bathroom was convenient. You have to hand wash dishes since no dishwasher. Trout in the pond are used to being fed with fish food rather than hunting for natural food. Lol. Saw couple turkeys and couple deer around the pond. Lots of birds and squirrels.“

The cabin was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with everything we needed for a 3-day getaway. „Lynne and Buddy were amazing hosts! Everything was wonderful and they were so so helpful and accomdating. From the pictures, to the cooler and ice, even their generator lol. They even took us out on their pontoon boat! The view was amazing where we stayed. I booked it just for that reason, the mtns and the sunset. Def recommend! You guys rock! this place!“
