„Very pleasant 4 night stay in mid March. Weather kind to us. Beautiful local walks, no need to use the car during our stay. Planned to take the local bus to Appletreewick on Tuesday. Note it does not run on Tuesdays so went to Skioton!“

„We (6 adults and 2 teenagers - 3 generations) spent an amazing, long Easter weekend in the Village Barn. It was very well equipped, clean, full of charm and character. We managed to park 2 largish cars on the driveway. Great location, right in the heart of Burnsall, next to the Red Lion, where we had Sunday roast- highly recommended.We did a walk from to barn to Grassington and some beautiful walks from a short drive away. „Das Cottage ist klein und sehr gemütlich. Voll ausgestattet. Wir haben uns gleich superwohl gefühlt. Der Besitzer ist sehr lieb, freundlich und hilfsbereit, auch wenn wir ihn nicht persönlich kennengelernt haben. Der einzige Nachteil ist der nicht vorhandene Parkplatz für das Cottage, aber paar Meter weiter sind Parkplatzmöglichkeiten. Grassington selbst ist ein schönes kleines Dorf. Man fühlt sich wohl hier und wir werden zurück kommen“

„Dale House is a great property with all the facilities you need. Its clean and comfortable and a great venue for family and friends. Fab games room. We had a lovely stay in Feb 25 and made use of the open fire which made it feel very cosy.There are 3 pubs within walking distance (literally a few mins). „What an amazing find! we were walking the dales way and had walked from Appetreewick that day, we arrived later than expected. „Dear Sue, 12 days we had the pleasure to stay in Ghyllcroft Cottage. We felt very mucht " at home" in this very well decorated house with the nice interior. We enjoyed every day walk directly from the house but also the trips to Malham, Ingleton or Bolton Abbey, Simon’s seat and the whole beautiful Wharfedale.
