„This was an amazing place, cozy, comfortable, beautiful surroundings, hot tub, all the amenities, clean as a whistle. We got snowed in, the owners gave us lots of warning about the incoming weather and checked on us to make sure we didn't need anything. Such a great getaway! We're going to come back every year for our anniversary!“

„This stay was everything we needed and wanted. The cabin is adorable, well furnished, and super clean. The river view off the back deck was a highlight for us and we found it hard to leave. We would definitely stay here again. “

„We stayed a few days in Steeleville, MO, during our Rte 66 road trip thru MO. Our host was absolutely wonderful! We ended up arriving later in the evening, in the dark! She actually contacted us, providing directions and maintained contact with us until we arrived. She made sure we had everything we needed upon arrival... even a bottle of wine! With her vast knowledge of the area she was able to provide so many excellent suggestions for food, shopping and site seeing. We LOVED the quaint ...

„Very remote feeling but only 5 miles from town. This place is a little gem, with all the amenities and then some to make sure you feel right at home. We appreciated having somewhere close to our kids to be able to have a holiday dinner with. The sound of the river while outside was so peaceful. And we walked down to it to skip rocks. Just beautiful, thanks for sharing your cabin with us!“

„Selected a weekend in December for a short cabin stay. We got really lucky with mild weather and we were even able to enjoy the fire pit one night. The cabin was as advertised. Very good cabin feel. The kitchen was fully stocked and Caroline confirmed ahead of time on a couple items we needed to cook with we’re already there. Definitely recommend anyone looking for a cabin getaway to book this listing.“

„Lots to do in the house itself with very unique and natural design elements including board games, tv with main streaming services. Also great outdoors area to spend some time under the stars by the fire pit. Only downside was that it was clearly a very pet friendly home so if you're not used to that it will take getting used to the pet smell. Excellent hosts as well!“

The host has really gone above and beyond to make your stay seem as if you are staying at grandma's cottage or home away from home with the extras provided. It was also very clean and comfortable. „The cabin is weell-equipped, very clean and well-maintained. The hot tub is very relaxing. There is a great view of the river and mountains. We actually saw the Northern lights early one evening from the upper deck!“

The property itself was so beautiful, especially in the snow. The house is decorated in a way that makes you feel at home. They really go the extra mile to make sure you have anything you may need. My husband even ended up loving the shampoo so much that he ordered us some for our home. We celebrated my husband’s birthday and I’m so glad we chose to go ...
