„The place had EVERYTHING one might need, from big sun hats, to a washer/dryer, and everything in between. It was close to town, but quiet (except for the rooster). We made breakfast every morning, enjoyed the sunsets from the terrace. It was not wicked fancy, but felt like home by the end of our trip.“

„Wow! We absolutely loved staying here. The hosts are extremely accommodating, welcoming, and kind. They made themselves accessible and available the entire week we stayed. The bed is very nice, bathroom is updated with plenty of storage, towels/linens were high quality, back porch has a great view of Cruz Bay. They have beach chairs as well. Everything was extremely clean and organized. Highly recommend the restaurants Morgan's Mango (finer dining for dinner) Longboard's (excellent food!!), ...

„Nice studio apartment with all necessities required for a short stay in St John. Close to ferry, restaurants, and supermarket. Owner was helpful with instructions and directions to get to the stay. Owner was also very responsive and helped get the room ready immediately, since there was some mix-up and our room was not cleaned up by the check-in time. Owner was quick to fix that and was very helpful.“

„This was our third time staying at one of James and Tara’s places. The homes are always consistent— great—and so is their communication. The property is beautiful, clean, and has all of the amenities from the pool, beach chairs, to snorkeling gear. Every detail is well- thought out. When you travel, you want to enjoy a stress free trip. Staying here will ensure that! Next time we are on the island, we will be staying here again. Thanks! “

„Great property. The view and location were wonderful. Perfect patio area to take a swim and watch the sunset. Very close to the Westin, Cruz Bay and markets. The layout of the home worked great for us (all adults), but might not be ideal for families with small children. 3 of the 4 bedrooms can only be accessed by an outdoor staircase and doors open to an open, outside hallway. Just something to be aware of. We had a great week - would return again. “

"For the money we paid we expected a clean and dry room. Unfortunately the room was not well kept. It seemed to be very humid due to the AC that doesn’t run when the room is not occupied. There was mold on our shower curtain and all fabrics and shelves seemed to be damp as well as our clothes after one night of staying there. Continental breakfast meant one piece of toast, one tea or coffee and some fruits. I had to discuss that our towels are changed twice during a five nights stay. We really didn’t felt welcome at the Tamarind Court beeing asked if we really want our towels to be changed because we are leaving one day later anyway. The beach chairs that were there for free rent were standing in the rain without shelter and due to this full of mold and rust. It would be easy for the Tamarind team to place them on a dry spot. The location to restaurants and shops in Cruz Bay as well as the free parking were good. The cleaning staff did a good job when they cleaned our room twice. They just couldn’t do anything against the mold and dampness. "
