„Weekend trip for my wife and I with our adult daughter. House was clean and nicely updated and decorated. Hot water did not last long, so we planned accordingly. Enjoyed long walks through the neighborhood, very interesting architecture. We would stay there again.“

„It was great to bring our dog but hard to manage the mud in the yard. Even getting from the car to the house would have been cleaner if the sidewalk was scraped off. We enjoyed walking to shopping, museums, and donuts. We would have been glad for check out instructions. We took out the trash and tidied up, but glad to do more to make things easy on the host if we know what is wanted. It was a good stay but not overly welcoming or communicative. “

„We stayed at Mark and Nancy's cottage on our way to and from visiting family. On our way home we arrived the day after a huge snow storm. Mark shoveled a foot and half of snow for us to have a spot to park and to have a clear path to the cottage. That is going above and beyond! Great hosts! “

„Dan & I enjoyed the cozy home reading & playing games in front of the fireplace. The TV room with reclining sofa was perfect for watching the Super Bowl. We slept well every night in comfortable beds and ate out at several places we don’t have at home. We would stay here again and would recommend it to friends.“

„The location to downtown is perfect and the use of a garage is wonderful. The house comes equipped with most needed items. It was difficult to figure out how to get into the internet on the TV. A few things that could help the stay is more glasses and lower down on the shelves, ice trays and instructions on TV and internet use. Well worth the money though.“

„Great spot just down the street from the boat dock. House was clean and worked well for 8 of us. Not sure you could sleep 12 unless you brought air mattresses. Breaker kept blowing in the kitchen, but easy access to flip it back on. Host was wonderful, provided great communication and very flexible. Would Recommend for a fun lake weekend!“

„This place is amazing! We were completely charmed by the beautifully converted silo. Every floor has special touches. We used it for a home base of riding bikes on nearby country roads and also the Flint Hills Trail in Council Grove. Highly recommend!“

„We live on both ends of the country so after Christmas we met in the middle to connect and enjoy time together. A perfect home in a beautiful Scandinavian village. We have many memories of visiting with family but this VRBO home was by far the finest we have ever enjoyed... ANYWHERE. We will be back!“
