„It was great to bring our dog but hard to manage the mud in the yard. Even getting from the car to the house would have been cleaner if the sidewalk was scraped off. We enjoyed walking to shopping, museums, and donuts. We would have been glad for check out instructions. We took out the trash and tidied up, but glad to do more to make things easy on the host if we know what is wanted. It was a good stay but not overly welcoming or communicative. “

„Weekend trip for my wife and I with our adult daughter. House was clean and nicely updated and decorated. Hot water did not last long, so we planned accordingly. Enjoyed long walks through the neighborhood, very interesting architecture. We would stay there again.“

„We stayed at Mark and Nancy's cottage on our way to and from visiting family. On our way home we arrived the day after a huge snow storm. Mark shoveled a foot and half of snow for us to have a spot to park and to have a clear path to the cottage. That is going above and beyond! Great hosts! “

„The house was super nice, and clean. It was in a great location, just on the edge of town, and Brian was super helpful and checked in on to see if there was anything we needed. “

„ My crew loved every minute of our stay. The house was decorated for Christmas which put a personal touch to our stay. The lake is in eye view from the beautiful windows. A short walk and you can take a stroll on the shore. Lots of room to stretch out a denjoy our time together“

„We had an after Christmas get together merging family members together from three different cities. The beds were comfy, and the kitchen well equipped. We appreciated the pack in play and being able to seat 8 around the table. It fix our needs perfectly. “

„My husband, son, brother, and sister-in-law stayed for a long weekend to attend a family wedding. This place was super clean, relaxing, and a great place to unwind after visiting family. Barbara was extremely kind and responded quickly to all our questions. We will be staying here again for the next family get together. “

„We traditionally travel West to Colorado after my cross country season, but our daughter in Eastern KS. can never join us. This year we decided to travel East and stay at this resort. There were 6 adults and 3 children 2 and under. Plenty of room and plenty of supplies. We did our Thanksgiving dinner and had a blast!“

„The property is amazing, spacious inside, and a perfect space for spending time & not feeling like you're in someone's space. Especially since our time was indoors because of winter storm Blair. We did enjoy building a snowman. Stan was an excellent host & Lovena was delightful and went above and beyond anything I could've imagined. We will definitely make it back, probably spring of '26. „Great spot just down the street from the boat dock. House was clean and worked well for 8 of us. Not sure you could sleep 12 unless you brought air mattresses. Breaker kept blowing in the kitchen, but easy access to flip it back on. Host was wonderful, provided great communication and very flexible. Would Recommend for a fun lake weekend!“
