„Loved our month long stay. Everything you need and tons of room both inside and out. Fun feeding the birds, goats and donkey. Secluded, so stock up on your groceries on the way in. Would stay again in a heartbeat “

„Drink morning coffee watching the Sun rise rising right in front of you over a serene portion of the West Frio River. While the Frio is low right now, this West section had water for river walks and playing. Some small perch in a few pools. Hosts go out of their way for a perfect stay. Walk down to the river for those without mobility issues. Hope to return one day. “

„We loved how isolated we were. My kids loved the river that was close to us, not much water in it but enough to enjoy the afternoon. The beds were so comfy! The cabin was equipped w everything we needed, just make sure to grocery shop before arriving because the trip to the nearest store was a ways away. The stars were incredible. I really enjoyed it! “

„I don't like saying bad things but the place was not clean. I had to move the couch to sweep up the food, plates, and bugs. I had to also sweep around the windows lots of bugs. The mattress cover on the pull out bed was full of hair and crumbs. I brought my sheets as stated but the previous people must have not done so. Other than that everything else was fine. The kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of sleeping space. View was magnificent. The BBQ pit came in handy and the fire pit. Everyone ...

„The house was as pictured, clean, perfect for our stay. Great location with lots of privacy and close to park. Our time was spent more outdoors and at park but came back to comfortable beds and warm showers. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and serve food and drinks. Fire pit was nice at night and played horseshoe and other fun outdoor games.Only suggestion: Would suggest bringing fold out chairs if want to watch TV with all guests with your party. „The property was close to Garner State Park and close to Leakey perfect getaway spot also, a short walk to the river on the property is very nice with metal benches to sit and view the Frio river.“

„Right there for the Three Twisted Sisters ride. Very cute and the Hens with eggs were an amazing touch!!! Such a cute cozy little cabin- absolutely a gem in Leakey! Owners were fast to respond with our questions!! Loved it!“

„Was beautiful out there. Especially at night with all the lights off. The host informed us on the way out that the river was really low. Was kinda bummed. But when we got there it had plenty of water. We were extremely happy with every thing out there. The kids fished for the first time and all caught perch and so excited. Would definitely stay here again. “

„We had a great time at this property and absolutely loved the little house. The backyard set up was perfect for campfires and grilling, and the location was very convenient to get to Lost Maples and Garner state parks. The house had everything we could want and was very cozy inside. Definitely want to go back!“

„Cute house outside of Leakey, close to the west fork of the frio. River is dry for the most part, but they have been going through a terrible drought. Back porch has beautiful views of the hills. Nice walking trail down to river bed. House is old and has alot of charm, but needs some repairs and updates to make the house more comfortable. “

„This place is in town, very convenient to everything, yet feels like you’re out of town because of the surrounding trees. Beautiful property and accommodations. Very well thought out and comfortable with lots of space. Communication was excellent. Never had any problems but I felt that response would be quick if there was. You will not want to leave!“

It was clean and well kept, spacious for kids to run around and play outside, and we enjoyed the short walk down to the stream several times. „Very clean, had all we needed. Only thing as I enjoying cooking (yes, even in during vacations, 2 burner cook top not very user friendly. But we grilled and had plenty of lefyovers for 2 days and bacon and egg breakfast easy enough“

„The house is large, and you could easily fit multiple families. The wrap around deck offers great options to hang out and enjoy the breeze. The linens and towels being provided is wonderful, and it was a plus that they smelled so good. The house has other amenities that we didn't fully take advantage of but are a plus as well. Having a pool is a fantastic option, especially because even though the weather wasn't great, because of the public access to the water hole, it still got busy since the ...
