„Family trip to Sandusky & Marblehead to Christmas shops. House was perfect for our family and dogs. We couldn’t get our dog sitters and had to bring them, the yard was perfect. The house was clean and spacious. “

„This is the nicest cottage. Tucked away and very private and peaceful. Host was easy to contact and gave us great advice on what to bring. Would rent this for sure again!! Great hideaway and suggest it for Fall as well. The Island was great to see without the hussle and bussle of summer!!“

„Everyone loved staying here, and the house was plenty warm even in the cold weather. There were also plenty of extra blankets for the chronically cold members of the family. Five stars! Hand soap and dishwasher soap was full +++. We used that a lot. We used the iron. The kitchen, bathrooms, and common space were very clean +++. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und der Privatstrand war super zum Baden im Eriesee. Fragen wurden vom Vermieter unmittelbar und schnell beantwortet. Wir waren äußerst zufrieden und können das Haus nur empfehlen.“

„The property was conveniently located near downtown Sandusky and the Great Wolf Lodge. Our family of 4 had plenty of space and the open concept made it ideal for the littles to run around. The hosts were easy to contact and responsive to our messages. “

„We stayed here with our family and 2 pups. It was a short <20 min drive to Cedar Point, which was the purpose of our trip. Our teenagers loved the park/playground being about a block and a half away and we loved the small beach by the lake where you could see Cedar Point. There were a lot of, what we assume mayflies, but that is expected being right near the water and the time of year. It fit us all comfortably without feeling on top of each other and we can’t wait for our next trip that will ...

„We really enjoyed this adorable place to crash during our Cedar Point weekend. Decor was adorable - cute seasonal touches that really made this feel homey. We had 6 people, and the bed configuration was a bit confusing when we first arrived, but we made it work. (There's no bunk bed, but a trundle under the twin bed. It just can't be used well in the bedroom because it blocks the door from opening all the way.) Everything was very clean, and there were plenty of linens and extra touches like ...

„We stayed at Doug’s property overnight while we were in town for a Baptism. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. Plenty of space for us to spread out. The view of the lake is beautiful! The neighborhood is very nice. Wouldn’t mind staying here again in the warm weather.“

„We've stayed in Rye Beach area many times for sports tournament weekends. Very convenient location. Neighborhood homes are hit or miss - but in general one feels safe. Home itself could use some more comfy seating in the living area and more kitchen items but beds were comfy and having two bathrooms is nice. Playground is close by too.“
