„Booked a room for three. Only a bed for two was prepared despite paying and booking for three. The sofa bed which can hardly be named a bed (I felt only the construction and no mattress!) had dirty sheets. At the reception they told us the third person was expected to stay in the double bed with the two people. Absolutely rude and no free one person night was provided. At least new sheets were provided but only the next day. Also it’s next to a gas station, don’t recommend staying there. “

„Zum Abschluss unserer Reise wollten wir noch ein paar Tage relaxen. Deshalb suchten wir uns dieses wunderschöne Hotel in unmittelbarer Strandnähe mit einem Zimmer zur Meerseite aus. Der Blick auf's Meer ist wunderbar. Großzügige Apartments, komplett eingerichtet (Waschmaschine + Trockner), großzügige Küche mit allem Komfort. Das Hotel ist nur durch eine Straße vom Strand getrennt und hat einen eigenen Pool. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Sehr freundliches ...

„Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und die Abende auf dem Balkon ausklingen lassen. Sauberkeit war perfekt und die Gastgeber sehr nett. Kann ich nur empfehlen! “

„Das perfekte Appartment für alle, die nur kurz oder auch länger an der Bay of Islands bleiben wollen. Die Ausstattung, besonders der Küche, ist einzigartig. Es fehlt an nichts. WLAN funktioniert sehr gut. Wunderbarer Blick auf die Bucht und den Ort Russell. Auf der Terrasse steht ein Grill zur Verfügung. Das Maori-Dorf Waitangi liegt gleich in der Nähe. Ein Studio zum Wohlfühlen, absolut empfehlenswert.“

„This place was the perfect get away for our group of friends, private separate sleeping cabins with a huge outdoor entertainment area. We loved sitting around the fire pit and being able to cook on the outdoor fireplace. Appreciate also being able to bring our dogs. We will be back“

„Our host were welcoming and hospitable lovely people I personally feel they should be charging more for their cozy cabin it had all we needed and more if you love country surroundings then this place definitely ticks all the boxes I would definitely recommend this place would I do it again in a heartbeat “

„Wonderful place to stay, with extra touches to make our stay special. Accommodation was clean and comfortable with plenty of space, with a balcony offering beautiful views over Bay of Islands. Excellent location for getting to quay fir boat and ferry trips and within walking distance of Waitangi Treaty Grounds. (Although the steep walk back up hill after a day out is quite tough...but view was worth it). “

„Outstanding - I could not rate higher. Fantastic location with waterfront view, spacious and with full kitchen WITH THE TYPES OF UTENSILS YOU WOULD HAVE IN YOUR OWN KITCHEN - not just the "tick box" commonly found. Unit was clean, and instructions on check-in and processes clear and straightforward. This is not the first time I've gone to Paihia - and the accommodation here was head-and-shoulders better then anything I've had before.“

„Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Alles war wunderbar, eine sehr schöne Wohnung, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sauber und so eine schöne Aussicht! Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und haben uns bei Anreise begrüßt und alles gezeigt :) Die Kommunikation war auch einwandfrei Wir wären gerne länger geblieben und würden die Unterkunft aufjedenfall weiter empfehlen“

"Es hat mir gut gefallen. Check in ging super schnell und ich habe ein Upgrade bekommen. Man kann zu Fuß in den Ort. Personal sehr nett. Leider keine Aussicht und das Frühstück ist sehr dürftig. Microwelle wäre schön. "

Good hotel choice in Orewa

"Overall good hotel right at the water. We had a room without sea view, quiet with parking directly in front of the room. Bed was super comfy, however the room could've had a little more thought put into it. There were no electrical outlets next to the bed, plus the switch for the night stand lights could not be reached when lying in bed. The windows could not be closed, so we had bugs inside. The bathroom did not have a fan to expel the moist air, which causes problems on the ceiling. In addition to that, the joints in the shower could use some extended cleaning or replacement. Overall good (8/10) but some room for improvement."
