„Myself & mom choose this place because of closeness to relatives we were visiting. The home was very clean, queen bed comfy. Mom slept in bunk, which is really meant for kids, but she's short so it worked. If you plan to cook, there is only 1 fry pan, 1 sauce pan, 1 cookie sheet & 1 spatula. There are no sharp knives, only 2 butter knives & 4-6 spoons & forks. No baking dishes & only 1 hot pad. No toaster & a mini microwave. „We did the Wild Hare 10k for the first time and had originally planned on staying at the large cabin at Bastrop State Park, but unfortunately it was booked. Lucky for us, because this place is like having a state park all to yourself. There are numerous trails with lots of hills and gorgeous scenery. In addition, there are delightful statues and scenes all throughout the property. If you like photo opportunities, you will be ecstatic!!! „We stayed there with 12 people including three teens under age 15. The house was welcoming and we didn’t feel crowded with so many people. The other king bed is in the loft which I did not find very clear in the listing. We loved our stay. We were in town for my son’s wedding and it was the perfect home away from home. „This little cabin was the perfect place to spend some “me time” away from the big city. It was quiet and private but not far from others. Cocooned under shade trees, it provided seclusion that came at just the right time. The finishing were nice and comfortable and the shower was wonderful. Thank you to the hosts. Matjorie“

„Definitely off the beaten path! House had everything we needed and plenty of space. We made full use of the pool and enjoyed the pool table and fuseball. Great place!“
